Addie: ((I have a bit of time.)) As he kissed my cheek I turned a bit and made it so he was kissing my lips.
Me: I didn't fully understand what happened for a second. Then I did. My first reaction was to pull away, but I stopped myself. I let myself kiss her.
Addie: 'It will be okay.' I thought for both of our sakes as I pulled away.

Addie: 'I always worry that you will leave.... I always worry everyone will... You've never given me a reason to think you ever would leave me until you stepped away but, you came back. I think that is how it will always be.' For some reason, I spoke out loud again. "I think you will always come back."
Me: I closed my eyes to stop the tears. "As long as you let me, I will always come back," I said. I whispered "as long as you keep me, I will always be yours."

Addie: I reached up and brushed the tear away, leaving my hand on his cheek. I wanted to compliment him, but I wasn't sure what word to use. As I was thinking,
I remembered something else I needed to say. "I'm sorry I was being grumpy earlier."
Me: I chuckled softly and kissed her cheek. "It's okay."
