Plague apocalypse RP

"You got it!" I pulled to a stop.

I stopped and put the kickstand down, then got out and unzipped the door, then gave him a package of nuts and a fruit strip thing, "I'll get you some more food when we stop for the night. Ok?" He nodded and I opened the food for him, then zipped the door shut again and got back on my bike.

I watched her a bit. I sighed a bit and started biking again.

I put the kickstand up and and followed again.

I turned another corner, and soon, we were leaving the city.

I turned the corner and Aiden ate his food.

We were driving on a country road. I pulled over once we were a few good miles away from the city. "Where now?"

"I don't know."

I looked around It was huge grass fields as far as the eye could see.

I looked at the sky to figure out how much daylight we had left.

I pulled out my water bottle and took a deep breath. I took off my mask and quickly drank my water.

"We might want to start looking for a place to stay for the night..."

I nodded and put my kickstand on after putting my mask back on. I got out my tent and quickly set it up.

I put my kickstand down and put up the tent I had grabbed then tossed the sleeping bags inside Aiden reached for me and I picked him up.

I put my sleeping bad down and pulled out all my blankets. "Do you want to take turn watching out for animals or whatever?"

I nodded a bit and cleared a place where I could set up the burner I had grabbed and boil some water.

I pulled out a small handgun I always carried and started pacing around the area.

I opened one of the dehydrated meals and added the boiling water, then I started more water.

Sometimes I watched her work, other times, I was pacing.

Once that water was boiling I added it to another package of food, then I shared the first one with Aiden.

I went back to pacing.

"Hey James I have some food for you if you want it."

I looked over at her and nodded. "Thank you." I walked over to her.

I nodded a bit and handed him his, "No problem." Aiden finished as much as he wanted and curled up in my lap. I finished my food.

I took a deep breath before taking a bite, then slid my mask back on while I chewed. I repeated this process while I was eating.
