I didn't have any dreams while I slept. Everything was just black. At least blackness was better than dreaming of my parents or getting attacked by a wolf again.

I jolted awake after a rather unsatisfying nightmare. It seemed to be the middle of the night. I groaned and rubbed my eyes. "Stupid dreams," I muttered bitterly.
