The Power of the Eyes

I looked at what he was aiming for and made it disappear under the dirt and appear next to me. I grabbed it and held it tight against me.

i ran over to Emma, "Emma I can get him to go back to normal, but I need the gun."

"NO!" I yelled as i saw it disappear. "You idiot!" I said as i turned towards her. My eyes flashed red and i motioned my hand towards something then flung it, i threw a bicycle to distract her.

((So, what exactly is going on with Braydon?))

I raised up a small barrier for the bike on reflex.

((I have no idea at the moment, just go with it. XD ))

I growled. I flew up above her and grabbed the same tree from earlier. I motioned my hand towards her which threw it.

"Emma, I need the gun."

"Hold on!" I yelled. I held my hand up and the tree grew its roots into the soil while it was flying, so it stopped hurtling towards us and was planted in the middle of the road. Doing stuff like that requires all my attention and a lot of my strength, and I didn't have a lot of strength to begin with, all I was dancing on the edge of passing out. I slowly held the gun out to Melanie.

"Just leave him." a voice called. I turned and it was dad.
"Oh, you again." I said disappointed. 
"I've got this..." He said pointing another gun but different. It shot a ray and grabbed me and pulled me down. It made it so i couldn't move. "Gah, let me go you... fools... this, isn't the... last of me~" i said as i got weaker and i passed out, the last thing i see is Emma tossing my sister the gun

((Okay guys i figured out what to say, i will have their dad explain it after your characters say/do something.))

I reversed the function of the gun my hand and shot Braydon with it.

"BRAYDON!" I yelled, getting to my feet and quickly walking over to her. I was really tempted to whack his dad with a branch.

"No!" He yelled. "You weren't supposed to shoot him yet!" Dad growled

"Why not?!"

He kept the trigger of the gun holding Braydon held tight. "Well since i have been taking kids powers, it ends up taking their good side with it, but leaving the bad one and the rest of their powers and their secret ones with it! If you return the good side before the bad one is destroyed it becomes something greater than him... It becomes something else. When i drain the good from those kids it leaves the bad side to discover secret powers if they have any. Now back at the lab when you freed everyone of those kids and they didn't say 'thank you'? That was their bad side, don't you understand dear child. If he becomes stronger than i will become, nothing will be left of me." He said in anger.
I started to move around a bit in the ray, i seemed like i was trying to free myself.

((I tried, i thought i had more detail in me... but i gues not...))

I got down on my knees at his side. I was tempted to kiss his cheek where I tree whacked him, but I also wanted to slap his limp form for attacking me with a tree. Idiot, he knew I can control plants.

"Get away from the ray kid, you're gonna hurt yourself!" He yelled at Emma.

"Do you have an idea how horrible you are as a parent?"

I glared at him, but slightly back up a few steps.

"No, But i know how well i will be after i get the rest of everyones powers." He smiled

I looked at the ground. Roots shot up, cracking and shattering the pavement as they wrapped around Braydon's father. "Don't call me 'kid,'" I growled.

"No~" i said with an uneasy breath. The gun dropped out of my hand and deactivated releasing Braydon.

I looked at Brandon, then at Melanie.

"So Braydon ready to work together?"
