I nodded uncertainly. "Do you just casually have conversations with a king?"

"Just him, kinda. He's busy running his country and being the Black Panther, so... my dad likes looking at his technology when my mom is on business trips, so I go with my dad and I talk to his sister a lot... so that's cool. That was what was going on when I crashed into Olivia's world."

"Wait, being the black panther?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him. "Does he turn into a panther? Does he have superpowers like you do, then?"

I laughed a bit at imagining that. "Well, he has a totally vibranium suit, like me. His sister is actually the one who made it for me so I could be safe as the son of Tony Stark. But he kinda has super strength, speed, total resistance to all poisons, heightened senses and reflexes, incredible endurance. He's also a master of basically a lot of martial arts and fighting techniques. And still an amazing fighter when he has the powers of the Black Panther removed!"

"Oh, that sounds a lot better than how I'd imagined him," I exclaimed, grinning a bit. I doubted I'd ever understand his world but at least I was attempting to.

I laughed a bit. "I bet." I looked around. "So, what about the people in your life? What are they like?"

"The Ranger Corps is like my family," I answered. "Caldwell is like a father to me. He's taught me just about everything I know, and I've only known him for just over 2 years now. I get along well with Madelyn and Will as well. Both of them are the toughest people I know, besides Halt, who is Will's--now retired--mentor." I smiled as I thought about all the stories that Will and Halt had told me of their journeys through the years. "This might sound weird, but my closest friend is probably Bronze, my horse."

"Nah, that's not weird." I listened to everything he had to say because it was fascinating. "Sometimes, people humans suck. I like technology a lot more than socializing, believe it or not. But with both my parents basically being celebraties, I have to socialize well in front of people, like when going to charity banquets. And now that I'm a super hero, it's important for me to come off as friendly and a people-person for the public image. One wrong move and the media will crucify me. So, yeah, I know what you mean."

It was saddening for me to hear that he couldn't be fully himself because of other people in his world. "That's the opposite of what it's like for me. You sound like you get more attention than you want, but in my world most folks think that Rangers use black magic, so a good amount of villagers are weary of us. It's hard to get out and socialize with people who go from being annoyed by you to suddenly afraid of you. All of my friends at home are part of the Corps."

"The government distrusts us and I'm probably on their watch-list, so... that's not fun. It's nice to go to Wakanda because the reigning monarch let's me help out and stuff." I looked down at him and smiled. "If we get to my world, I'm going to have Shuri make you vibranium armor. Nothing can pierce it, so then you'll always be safe."

I smiled but shrugged a little. "My job requires remaining as light a possible and not being flashy because we rely of stealth. It's a nice thought, but I don't know how practical it is for normal applications in my world."

((Ya know, I always picture them getting to his world and just appearing in his living room as Tony and Pepper and both on the phone and freaking out to people about their missing son and Aiden just goes "Mom, Dad, I can explain".))
((Also, the next world is Nic's, right? I remember that being said but wanna double check it's happening.))

"Vibranium is super light weight, so it doesn't weigh anymore than a cotton shirt, but it's also surprisingly breathable so it minimizes air resistance when you're striking or moving." I held out my hand with my bracelet out to him. "Here, let me show you. Take my hand."

((Okay. Dangit I had a good reply and it's deleted and now I'm gonna give a short lame one because I don't care anymore))
I put my hand in his, not sure how he planned on showing me that.

I mentally gave the binary command and a small fraction of the vibranium nanobots came from my bracelet and fit over his hand like a glove. I let go. "Fits like a glove make of air, doesn't it?"

I stared at the metal that covered my hand as I moved my fingers, testing how it moved with my body. A thought struck me. "How do you hold anything this this on?" It was metal, so things should mostly just slip out of his hands because of the lack of grip, and I had not forgotten the way he had used a sword.

"Well, this is so well molded, it's practically another layer of skin." I pulled out my gun and set it on the floor after making sure all the bullets were taken out. "Try picking it up, you'll see."

I did so and the gun easily stayed in my hands. "This is the strangest metal I've ever heard about," I gaped.

I laughed. "Yeah, it's totally OP, kinda, but super convenient."

I stared at him for a second, confused about what OP meant but decided I'd asked enough questions about everything and didn't want to be irritating. "It sounds like it has a lot of applications," I replied, handing him the gun before offering my hand to him to let him take the nanobots back.

"It does. OP means Over Powered, by the way. Sorry, kinda... forgot you have different jargon." I took my gun and holstered it before gently taking his hand and commanded the nanobots to come back to the bracelet. Once that was done, I adjusted my hold on his hand so I was holding it more casually.

((Man I wanna throw in action but what could I even do at this moment? It's not like any enemy would storm the bunker or anything...))

((They can go and find stuff to fight. So, it's like an action date. Kira can enable it. Like, she can tell they're bored and give them something to do.))

((But neither of them know anything about supernatural stuff. Its was fun to do the romance but the plot is getting lost))

“Do you think Aiden and Nic are ready to talk to us and try to figure out what we’re facing?” I waited until he finished his story to ask.
