New Year, New February RP?

I looked over to her. "I know you said you weren't hungry, but I made the rest of the meat so it didn't spoil. If you're hungry."

I nodded slightly and walked over to eat something.

I kissed her head and set the machete next to her. "There's that. I'll go sleep."

I nodded slightly, “Night.”

"Night." I crawled into my fort and laid down.

I ate some food.

I fell asleep quickly.

((So, what should we plan for?))

I looked around a bit.

I had some decent dreams, so I was well rested when I woke up a couple hours later.

((Maybe both of them kidnapped, then the mountain lion, cause then he’s already weakened and yeah))

I walked over and kissed her head before sitting down next to her. "How is everything looking?"

“Fine so far, but you know...”

I nodded in understanding and picked some of the meat I cooked earlier and ate it. "We'll start walking in an hour."

I nodded slightly in understanding.

I looked around. "Maybe we'll get sleeping bags dropped off," I muttered hopefully.

“That would be really nice, maybe even a tent.”

((I'll have them get kidnapped while they're walking, unless you want to do it sooner?))

I laughed a bit. "Wouldn't that make things so much easier? We can wish for a lot of things, but that don't mean it's gonna come true." I took a drink of my water. It was nearly halfway empty.

“I know, but now we know there are people who are trying to help us somewhat...”

"Yeah," I muttered. "But we can't depend on anything uncertain. We have to stick with what we know and what's in our capabilities." I stood up. "I'm gonna start packing up."

I nodded and helped pack up.

Everything was done by the time the hour was up. I shouldered the gear and kept my machete in hand before stomping on the fire, putting some dirt on the remains, effectively putting it out. I turned over to where Mackenzie was. "You ready to go?"

I nodded and pulled my pack on, “Ready.”

I smiled and kissed her for good luck before continuing to lead the path west, into the forest.

I smiled and walked with him.

"So, what do you want as a job? A doctor or nurse or something?"
