Nothing Left to Say

Tony: "Y-yeah. I remember him a bit better now... the girl, she came looking for me to see if I was the same way." I looked at Tristan. He didn't seem like a homicidal maniac when I met him, but he seemed really... guilty about something. "I think she was trying to find out if he could still be good." I looked up at the others.
"He's my brother, isn't he?"

“Yeah, at least from an adoption stand point.”

I continued looking through the files, making my way through the s's.

I leaned back a bit.

One name stuck out to me. I pulled out the file and recognized the girl. "Uh, her." I laid it down. "Madison Sch-..." I couldn't pronounce her last name. "She came to find me."

I nodded slightly and pulled her file.

Draven: I leaned against the table. "So... she's the person who's also gonna help us end this?"

“There’s blacked out spots in this...”

Amy: "What do you mean?" I peered over her shoulder.

“I mean parts of this are redacted.” I pointed out the blacked out parts.

"I swear to God, it wasn't me. I stole this particular box when everyone was evacuating due to the outbreak. Someone must have gotten to it before me." I looked up at them. "We definitely have to find her if they're desperate enough to black out information." I tried reading to get a gist of what they didn't want us to know.

“I didn’t say it was you, but I agree we need to find her.”

I closed my eyes, thinking. "Did she make up with Tristan, before the apocalypse, do you know?" I looked at Tony.

I looked at him too, I didn’t know the rest of the story, he said he didn’t remember anything, but we might not have been asking the right questions.

Tony: I closed my eyes. "They talked for a long time, but I was so scared of my dad coming home and finding all these people..." my hands started shaking. "They left together. I think he was holding her hand." I opened my eyes. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying all that much attention."

Nat: “It’s ok, that’s helpful. Was anyone else there?”

I hesitated to answer. "Yes."

“Who?”

Those names I wouldn't forget. "Christine Johansson and Lenora Hale. They helped me find my real parents. They were kinda scary, working with Tristan. I think they helped him track her to my place."

I nodded slightly, “Were they part of the project too?”

I shook my head.

“Why did they help him then?”

I shrugged. "I don't know, but I think they knew each other. Do you think they also worked for my adoptive dad?"

“What did they say to you?”

I shook my head. "I don't know. A lot of big and confusing words. Uh... hacking? Something about that... I think." I shrunk a bit under Amy's intense gaze.
