Dragon Born Reboot

Octavia: I looked back at the spot they disappeared from. "That was my dad, wasn't it?" I muttered.
Rondris: I tilted my head and looked at him. "You must have some questions for me. Beyond the war."

Marina: “Yeah it was, and I think he might have just stolen Asher from us.”
Ash: I nodded slightly, “Why have my sister and I and then abandon us? We didn’t even know we were related until Lume and Neith told us.”

Octavia: I swore out loud. "We got to get him back, don't we?"
Rondris: "Ah, a... flaw from my youth. I used to fall in love too easy with those who could never love me back. Your mothers hated the truth. That I am dragon. That's all they saw me for, and thus, banned me from being a part of your lives."

Marina: I nodded, “We should tell the others, we don’t even know where he took Ash.”
Ash: “I mean my mom did tell me that she wished she had never met you and that you were a terrible person.”

Octavia: I nodded and took off towards the camp, but when I got there, I couldn't see either Leandro, Regan, or Alex.
Rondris: I gave a laugh. "I offered that woman a kingdom only for her to slander my name and to keep my child away from me. Ah, life that have funny quirks like that."

Marina: I tried not to panic, “This isn’t funny Alex!! Come out!”
Ash: “Sure, funny.”

Octavia: I stayed close to Marina, especially when someone who was very big stepped out from behind the trees, his large arm wrapped around Alexander's neck, the other around his head. He was so scrawny, but he kept trying to break free, despite the fact that one flex would be choking him. Two more people stepped out of the dark and into the light of the fire, holding Leandro and Regan in similar positions.
Rondris: "I loved your mother until she kept you from me. I loved Octavia's mother until she called me a stain upon humanity for being a dragon."

Marina: “Let them go!”
Ash: “I was told you’ve been kidnapping halflings.”

Octavia: I gasped and whimped when I felt a sharp, cold object place itself on my throat. I tried not to cry when a hand placed itself on my shoulder. I was moved to sit down on the log in front of the fire, the others guided into the same position. "They don't take orders from those beneath them, daughter of Adrina," a woman's voice spoke. Suddenly, thunder cracked across the sky and it started raining, putting the fire out. A crack of lightning illuminated the area briefly, and a woman stood where the fire once was. Her pale blue eyes glowed in the dark, staring right at Marina.
Rondris: "I take them to a place that accepts them from who they are. They come from families who can't stand their existence because of their parents. In my realm, they are revered as the powerful beings they truly are."

Marina: I turned around and glared, “Who are you?” The rain didn’t actually bother me, if anything I felt stronger.
Ash: “Against their will. What if they wanted to be with their own kind?”

Allura: "You may address me as your highness, or something to the affect, and nothing less. As for the official title, I am Queen Allura of the Sirens." I pulled out a knife and walked over to her, holding it under her throat. "Be compliant or your friends will pay for your recklessness."
Rondris: "Truly? None of them are amongst their own kind. Not humans, not mythics. Their only kind is halflings, and the only place halflings can be properly accommodated is with the mythics."

Marina: “Really? You would hurt your own son?”
Asher: “I mean half mermaids with mermaids etc. Make sense?”

Allura: "I have many sons. The only reason he's alive is because King Rondris commands it so. But I'm sure Rondris would understand if an accident were to befall him."
Rondris: "Ah, yes. Mythics can spend time with their children, as that's where they go. Reunited with the clan that can accommodate them best. It's their choice where they end up, really."

Marina: “Wow really selling joining his side, good work, I’m sure he’s proud of you.” I was trying to keep her distracted while I activated the shell in my pocket, I glanced and Reg and Alex and saw Reg fidget a bit like she was trying to get to something probably to call her dad.
Asher: “That isn’t what I’ve been hearing. And I trust my sources. Look I’m not gonna lie to you, I agree humans are terrible, when my friends and I realized what we were our immediate thought was ‘How do I hide this I’m going to get killed,’ but you need to understand that I do care about my friends and I want to protect them. So my suggestion would be cut the crap and don’t lie to me.”

Allura: I grabbed her hair and yanked it back before forcing her to turn around. "Come, we're going for a walk." I started shoving her away from the others.
Rondris: "You want the truth? Fine. So maybe I am waging war on the others, but that's because they are too naive and think that humans will actually accept us as their equals. Wars are won by any means necessary. It's naive for everyone to leave a winner. I want the humans to suffer for the pain they've caused all of us. Forcing us into hiding, scared of the persecution. I shouldn't have to be afraid to be myself and my children shouldn't have to be afraid for being born!"

Marina: I winced slightly, but managed to activate the shell, hopefully she could at least hear what was going on, “I don’t really like going for walks.”
Ash: “And now we’re getting to the stuff I agree with.”
