i turned my hand a little in his so that my fingers went between his and his went between mine ((do you know what I'm talking about?)) so I could hold on tighter finally the exit was visible.

I nodded slightly and let go of his hand once we were near the door and ran for the panel that controlled the security system.

I rushed off to find the security guards nearby. "Looking for me?" I called to them. They immediately rushed after me, and I ran. I knew I wouldn't be able to outrun them.

I quickly pulled the panel off and rewired it. Hopefully Tristan would come back this way while I finished.

I tripped but before I could get up, they pulled me to my feet. Suddenly, one held my arms behind my back while the other raised a fist. I closed my eyes.

I finished and ran the direction I had seen Tristan go, "Hi! How are you!?" I yelled distracting them for a second which was enough time for me to kick both guards in the place guys don't like being kicked.

They dropped me, and I scrambled to my feet. Luckily, they didn't leave any bruises that Madison would see. "Thanks," I said.
