"I probably would've refused to give people the cure unless they were someone I had known before or someone in there family begged me. I would've still been hated because of that." I sat up and looked down a bit as I relized what I was saying was exactly what would've happened.

"Yeah... That's what would've happen if I had found it on my own, I was so bitter towards humanity before I met you because no one ever let me explain, no one ever listened to my side of the story, no one believed that it was an accident, and I hated that after a while I started focusing on that hate and I started to hate people, I was trying to make the cure just to spite the human race, but it wasn't working and a lot of that hate I had been feeling had started directing itself toward me, I didn't want to believe that I didn't need to be mad at everyone, but the cure wasn't working and it made me want to give up. People can't threaten you if you're already dead, you can't hear what they say about you if you're already dead, and honestly that sounded like the better option." I kept looking down I didn't want to see how disappointed he probably was.

I wasn't sure how to respond. I could see where she was coming from, I honestly did. She made sense to me.
