I gave her a smile back. I was tempted to lean down and press my lips against her, but the uncertainty of her being okay with it stopped me. The last thing I wanted to do was unintentionally scare her.

To say the least, I think I was having an out-of-body experiment from pure shock. I came back after a few seconds and started to kiss her back, returning the enthusiasm.

I was a bit relieved when he started to kiss me back it was nice knowing that he had wanted to kiss me too. I carefully wrapped my arms around his neck and felt a warmth spread through me.

To be honest, I was surprised I wasn't going into shock. But, I did what little romantic instincts I had told me to do and slowly wrapped my arms around her, pulling her a bit closer to me.
