City in the Sky

"It's fine. I know soccer isn't your thing."

I nodded slightly.

I looked around. Seems the other fans were leaving us alone, because I couldn't see them. "Do you want me to drive, if you're tired?"

I nodded slightly.

I kissed her head. "Alright."

I handed him my keys, "You're gonna need to adjust the seat and mirrors," I mumbled as I climbed in the passenger seat.

"Got it!" I said as I climbed driver's side.

I pulled my seat belt on and curled up a bit so I could sleep.

I adjusted the mirrors and seats a bit before putting the keys in the ignition.

I fell asleep.

I started up the car and drove off.

I stayed asleep kinda using my seatbelt and the door as a pillow.

I pretty much knew the way back to her house, I just needed to beat the traffic.

No dreams so far...

I was glad that I made it before the traffic, and was  on my way.

I moved a little in my seat, the seatbelt was kinda uncomfortable.

I cast a glance at Madison every once in a while. We were almost there.

I got into a more comfortable position and stayed asleep.

Soon, enough, I pulled up into the driveway to her house. I turned the car off, unbuckled my seatbelt, and got out. I walked over to Madison's side and opened the door and unbuckled her. I wrapped the blanket around her a bit before pulling her out, in my arms, bridal style.
I managed to close the door and locked the car and walked to the front door.

I felt him pick me up and recognized the familiarity so I curled up closer to him and stayed asleep. My mom looked outside and opened the door for him.

"Thanks, Mrs. Schuler," I said when I walked in.

My mom nodded, "No problem."

I carefully walked to Madison's room, careful not to hit her head on a wall or something.

I stayed close to him.

I shoved her door open a bit, walked in and set her down on the bed. I made sure the blanket was keeping her warm before I kissed her head and left the room.
