I stared at him in slight shock. I knew I deserved it, but still! "Oh, it's on!" I got ready to throw a big handful of bubbles when the timer went off. "Ooh, you got lucky!"

I dried my hands off and went to check on the puff pancakes. "Perfect!" I exclaimed as I pulled out the glass pan very carefully and setting it on the stove top. I quickly turned the oven off and set the timer for five minutes so it could cool off.
