Draven: I gently reached for her hand and rubbed her knuckled for a second before retracting it. "Still know sign language?" I started to sign at her.

I nodded and lowered my hands. I leaned back in my seat and closed my eyes. It looked like one of the bigger hordes, so that must have meant we were in what was once a more densely populated city.

I listened to them walking around us. If I thought hard enough, it almost sounded like we were just stuck in traffic and people were carrying on with their daily lives.

I pulled out some files from the glove compartment and hestitantly tapped Draven on the shoulder before signing, “There’s something I need to make sure you understand before we keep going.”
