I threw a book anyway, the thick Webster dictionary hitting The Cheese in the chest.

((Can everyone tell me their names again? Real and nickname, just so I can get this all straight? Dillard is my character's name but people either call him Dill or Cheese-it.))

Getting hit in the chest hurts, especially with a dictionary. I tumbled to the ground, holding the dictionary in my arms.

More books kept flying at me, and I got fed up, I stood up with my crutches, shoved Dill, causing him to fall, then escaped through the window and onto the roof without ever being seen, where I sat, my legs against my chest, my arms around my legs, and my chin on my knees.

I couldn't respond. My head was stuck in the floor!!! like it hadn't bashed through the floor, but it still was in the floor! I kicked my legs franticly and waved my arms.

I felt a little bit of warm blood trickle from my nose where books had repeatedly smacked. I squeezed my nose gently on the bridge, trying to help the bleeding slow down.

"Good for him!" I shouted from the roof without thinking. My words were slurred a bit because of my bleeding nose. I totally just have away my hiding place.

"I'm not hurt!" I tried to yell, but my yelling only sounded like muffled screams. However, as I flailed my limbs, I found that my whole body was slowly sinking with the rest of me!

"His melting, genius!" I shouted back down. I peeked my head through the window, the rest of my body still on the roof and burst out laughing, then choked and the blood in my nose went down my throat.

Soon it was just my boots that showed through the floor. I stopped sinking after that. I felt squashed and compressed. It was kind of hard to breath.
