I walked in the lunch room and looked around curious about who had stayed and who had left. I saw the new kid sitting with some of the people on the wrestling team, I hadn't met him yet, but I was kinda shy...

Personality: Unlike her name, she's very tough, sassy, the most sarcastic person you will ever meet! Athletic, smart, bullied (and hit on) constantly by guys because of her misleading beautiful looks and courageous attitude. Doesn't have many friends because she just transferred schools.
Age: 16
Description: Well, normally cute tops or t-shirts with skinny jeans and black boots that go up to the middle of her calves. Straight jet black hair down to her shoulder blades, light brown eyes, pale skin.))

Someone entered the room, and I turned to see a girl standing there... she was beautiful... more so than any girl I'd ever seen. Not in the way most people would think, though... she wore simple jeans with a blue t-shirt, and most people, at first glance, wouldn't see what I saw... but as I looked in her eyes, I saw something quite different from all the others in that room. I wasn't sure quite what, but I could tell it was good. ((I guess the plot's gonna change a bit from what I told you, Kennedy, but it'll stay fairly the same.)) I got up. "Yo, cathc you guys later." A few guys saw where I was headed and hooted, and I waved a hand over my shoulder so they could see. I stepped over to the girl in the doorway. "Hello."

"Oh uh hi," I said surprised he had noticed me at all.

I smiled. "I'm Hyrum." I held out a hand. "You are?"

"Hazel," I told him hesitantly shaking his hand.

I was sitting, unseen in the far side of the room. No one ever saw me, yet my mom expected for me to have friends. I looked over. Aww, a guy and a girl. But my business, but it was interesting! Was this ease dropping? Nah!

I grinned. "Nice to meet you, Hazel. I haven't heard that name too much... it's nice. Pretty." I almost facepalmed directly afterwards. I had to remember that city folks weren't quite so direct...

"Oh uh thanks." I felt a small blush creeping up my cheeks.

"Yeah... welcome." I smiled again. "So... I haven't seen a whole lot of this school, and I can't find a good tour guide." I could hear my accent leaking out heavily... dang it.

"I could show you around..."

"Really?" I grinned. "Why thank you."

"N-no problem."

I smiled a bit less intimidatingly. "Alright, then, we don't have a whole lot of time." I tilted my head towards the hall, pulling a pop-tart from my pocket. "This school has a rather short lunch."

"It isn't that short, but yeah we should hurry."

I followed her out into the hall, and saw some kids standing over a maller one, holding his backpack. "Hold on a sec." These city kids were jerks... worse than any others. I stepped over to the boys. One chuckled. "Sup, farmer-boy." I grinned. "You." I picked him off his feet, and he dropped the backpack. I set him down, and pushed the others away. "Shove off, idiots. Grow some brains." I helped the kid up. "You alright?" "Yeah." "Good."

"That was nice of you, I try to help, but I'm not very intimidating..."

I chuckled. "It's good." I waved to the little kid as he scampered off. "I should've done more."

"You did more then most other kids would," I said quietly.

"Yeah... I don't get you city folk. So confusing all the time. You never say what you mean." I grinned. "Like I bet you've never had someone tell you you're beautiful." I thought for a second. Most kids had the wrong idea of beauty as well, in the city.

"Nope I never have," I said my blush getting darker.

I sighed. No one was going to come, there was no point in waiting. I grabbed my stuff and stood up, leaving the room and to my locker. I was putting my books in when someone closed it.
I looked around and saw... a football player I think... Oh, it was him! "What do you want, Josh?" I asked, already getting a headache. "Well, Serenity, your name is as pretty as you are, so I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?"
I'd rather eat a hat, this guy was an obvious player! He always had a gaggle of girls around him! "Not if my life depended on it," I said, picking my bag up and trying to walk away. He walked away. "Whoa! You know who I am, captain of the team! The football team! You can't turn me down!" He said, grabbing my arm. "I just did," I said, yanking my arm away and trying to walk, but he kept following me!

I heard a locker slam and looked up, I saw Serenity trying to get Josh away from her, "Hey Serenity! Want to come with us?!"

I looked around. How did people know my name? I was barely a shadow to them, but this was a golden light. "Yes!" I said, rushing over to... Hazel, I think her name was.

"I'm showing Hyrum around the school," I explained talking quietly again.
