"But I'm not tired," I complained in a little kid voice.

I chuckled. "Yes, you are."

"No I'm not!"

"Well, I am. Didn't you want to help me?"
((Btw; having ot act like her parent isn't helping his stress level... he's got severe depression; his mind works a bit differently when he's depressed.))

((Yeah... it's okay...)) I smiled, releived. Finally, I could just go and lay down... got to sleep... forget everything for a bit.

I didn't mean to, but I started to fall asleep.

I smiled when she started to fall asleep in my arms. I kissed her forehead as her head lolled.

Pretty soon I had fallen asleep completely even though I didn't want to. I felt him kiss my forehead and smiled a little.

I reached the castle, and hurried to the quarters. I set ehr down, calling for a maid. "Could you dress the queen in her night gown, and get her in bed, please? I've got to find a place to sleep."

"O-of course you're highness," she stuttered.

I nodded and hurried out. I walked calmly to Jeff's quarters. I left mos of my things with him, staying in my brown cloth clothing. I hurried down the halls, till I found one that was empty. I started pacing, slowly getting faster, till I was full-on sprinting through the deserted passages.

I woke up enough to get dressed myself so I dismissed the maid as soon as I was changed I laid down and was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I sprinted faster and faster, running past hallways and through tunnels, out around the whole castle, and through the empty citadel. I ran back to the castle, and started hopping up spires, climbing quicly to the top of the tallest one. There I crouched and held my head in my hands.

I turned in my sleep something didn't feel right...

I looked out over the forest beyond the walls, and then down at the courtyard below. The ground was solid, and if I fell that far, I would have a very small chance of living. I sighed and looked up at the dark, starry sky.

I relaxed a little, but something still felt a little off.

I closed my eyes, running my hand over the smooth stome of the spire. So tall... so ahrd to build... putting a single large point on top of a tower... it had a purpose. It was a signal; a show of strength and power. I looked down at the ground again. So far away... but it could be very close in seconds... and so could an end to this torment.

Something definitely wasn't right I woke up and started walking around the castle trying to figure out where I needed to go.

I decided to hop onto the spire next to the one I was on. it was slightly lower, but not enough to make a differnece.

I didn't notice at first, but I had wandered to the top of the second tallest tower.

I slid down the spire, onto the rough rooftop. I slowly walked down its slope. I could still die from here...

I felt like I was in the right place, but I couldn't see anything... "Hyrum?!"

I stood to my full height, looking down at the ground. The wind pulled at my clothes, and I closed my eyes.
