"Oh, well that's too bad, blonde, if you're so sick, there's no way you can nurse him back to health, so I guess since I have nothing to do, I will see to it Tristian gets better!" Jenna said.
I clenched my fist that wasn't holding Madison's hand.

"Oh sweetie I can still function when I have a cold I'm just letting you know so that you can leave before you get sick."

Without batting an eye, Jenna pulled out a mask that doctors wear and put it around her mouth. "There, no chance of me getting sick!" She said. Gosh, this girl was as persistent as ever.

"He wants you to leave so leave."

"If he wants me to leave then why doesn't he say so himself?" Jenna asked, her voice suddenly in hysterics. "She's a nut job and probably has a gun in her purse," I whispered to Madison subtly. This is why I got a restraining order. She nearly jumped a girl that I asked for the time way back in middle school!

"Jenna why are you here? What's the real reason?"

"Because, you witch, I saw him kissing you on the terrace and I've come to win him back!" She shouted. As I looked around for a phone, I swear my vision turned red.

"Why exactly am I a witch?" I asked keeping my tone calm.

Jenna yanked off her mask and three it to the ground. "I've never seen you here before in my life! I've been by his side for years and years, and been ignored by him, for almost a decade and still defended him even when he didn't notice, and suddenly, you appear out of nowhere and kissing him like there's no tomorrow out in public when he's never once looked at me twice! He's never even once spoke about you!"

"That's because I live in Utah, but we've been through a lot and you wouldn't exactly understand it."

"Shut up!" Jenna shouted before pulling out a handgun from her purse and pointing it at Madison. "Don't tell me what I wouldn't understand!" She sounded like she was holding back sobs.

"Jenna, put the gun down please."

"I said shut up!" She shouted, clicking the safety off. I froze. As far as I know, she never actually shot anyone, but I had seen her pull it out and point it before her therapist talked her out of it.

"Listen to me, I know how it feels to care about someone, to love someone and have them not acknowledge you, I know how bad that hurts and I know how hard it is to see them with someone else, but there's someone out there for you, someone who's just waiting to meet you, someone who will love you for you, but shooting me isn't going to make you feel better. What will is finding that person who is looking for you without realizing they are, that's what's going to make you feel better."

Jenna froze her a second. She didn't lower the gun and she had stopped trembling. I didn't dare look at Madison. I was too afraid to see her eyes. To see if they showed if she was just as scared as me.

((I'm going to bed.))

I was scared, it's normal to be scared, but I didn't let it show, "Please put the gun down."

((Night!))

Jenna looked at me for a second before dropping it at her side. In the second I had that she carelessly tossed it with the safety off, I pushed Madison to the side out of the way just as the gun hit the floor. As I predicted, a shot was fired and I fell to the ground. "Call 911, I was shot in the foot!" My voice betrayed how much pain I actually was in. At least it wasn't in anywhere vital as far as I know.

I nodded and called 911 then grabbed the gun before Jenna could reclaim it and turned the safety on.

I knew I had seconds before I blacked out. "Also, grab my phone and earbuds. I can still live stream the Real game from a hospital." My voice was still harsh, but also whispery.

I nodded and grabbed that too then helped him lay down.

I gave Madison a weak smile. "I'll be fine."

I nodded slightly and found stuff to stop the bleeding, I tried not to glare at Jenna.

"Can I close my eyes?"

I checked to make sure it wasn't anything vital then nodded.
