I paced outside the cell room for a while, groaning every so often. This was a difficult thing I needed to do. I sat outside the cell for a while, and I eventually went in.

My caring side kicked in. I wanted to be tough and scorn her for leaving but, handcuffs didn't sound fun. "Why do you need them off?"

David: An address flashed on my watch and I immediately knew that it was Mari and she needed help. I grabbed my jacket and walked out to my motorcycle.

I held on of her hands and with my other hand I pulled the key out of my pocket. "Oh, Mar, this is awful. These bars are just awful. I'm so sorry." I told her while I unlocked the cuffs.
