Where we come from

"Uh, let's see. There was me, Autumn," I started naming names and counting them off with my fingers. "Aspen, Mason, Ally. Annalise, Caleb. Terra, Elliot. Katie, but I think she moved out with her brother, Tyler, a while ago. So that makes 9-10 kids."

“That’s a lot of kids.”

I laughed a bit. "I assume that's why my folks had the place renovated." I looked over at my mom and dad. It was going to be difficult for them to except that she didn't talk anymore. "Can't wait for you to meet all of them at dinner."

((So, did we decide that James and Em had a kid of their own? Born a couple years after Autumn or something maybe?))

“That’s going to be fun...” I didn’t exactly love crowds, they usually meant danger.

((I think so))

"Not a people person? Don't worry, they're all nice. Hey, some of them might not even be here if they got their own places. But there are strength in numbers, so..." I shrugged.

((Should we create them?))

I nodded slightly, “I know, but they usually mean danger.”

((Yeah))

"I guess. Oh well. Let me show you to your rooms so you can set your stuff down then I'll give you the tour."

((So, I feel like they would have a son, because they already have two girls: Aspen and Autumn. And at that rate, it would be funny if they continued the "A" name trend.))

“Sounds good.”

((Asher?))

((Perfect! Do you think he'd look a bit like James with blond hair, but have Emily's green eyes?))

I waited for them to grab their stuff. "You guys can bunk with Autumn, that's okay, right, Mom?" I joked loud enough for my sister to hear. I was picking on her, but it was nice to feel safe enough and happy enough to joke.

((Yeah!))

Autumn stuck her tongue out at him and his mom said something about having plenty of room.

I laughed a bit. "Actually, is it okay if I share a room with you?" Tea asked my sister.

Autumn: I nodded slightly.
Sam: “I would prefer not to room with Jamie if possible.”

I nodded and started to lead the way upstairs. "This is Autumn's room." I opened the door and looked around while Tea walked in and set her bag down on a chair. My parents didn't even touch it while we were gone. "Autumn shares the room with my other sister, Aspen, but finding room won't be hard."
I led the way more. "This room is used by Annalise and Terra, my... cousins, I guess. Figuratively, mostly. I'll ask, but I'm sure you can bunk here, Sam."

Sam: I nodded slightly, “Thank you.”

I walked over to another door. "This room is unoccupied from what I can tell. You can have this room, Jamie. It's right across from mine and my brother's so if you need me, I'll be right there." I pointed to the door that had "Aiden and Asher" painted on it.

Jamie: “Thank you.”

I smiled and looked around. Come to think of it, I had not seen my other siblings anywhere. Asher would be around 14 now... Aspen would be 21. Maybe she has her own room now. I had no idea what went on while I was gone.

((Who writes Asher or are we gonna take turns writing him? What is his personality even like?))

“So where are your other siblings?”

"I have no idea." I laughed a bit before setting my stuff down. "I'll show you the rest. We have greenhouses and stuff, come on!" I led the way back to the stairs.

I nodded and followed him out.

I walked out the back entrance, still looking around. I know Claire and Trev were on a supply run, what about about Uncle John and Aunt Aubrey? Or Uncle Mason and Aunt Ali? I shrugged it off and walked over to the greenhouse, grabbing the wicker basket while we went inside.

I followed and looked around.

"You can pick anything you want if it's ripe." I went over to the strawberries.
