He had let go of my hand when he picked up my crutches, I wanted so badly to keep holding on. As I took my crutches from him, I realised that It was going to be impossible to hold his hand for a while.

I couldn't wait for her prosthetic leg to come so she wouldn't need the crutches so we could hold hands. If she wanted to, of course. I wasn't going to force her to hold my hand if she didn't want to.

Now that she mentions it, I too feel a tad bit of... Longing and... Indescribable sorrow. From or for what, I have no idea, just that it's there, barely under the surface of my everyday self. "Oh... Well, if you figure it out and want to talk about it, I'm here," I said uncomfortably, which made me feel even more uncomfortable.
