I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer to me. I took a deep breath as tears started streaming down my face. They came out faster and faster til I was full on sobbing.

I didn't even know why I was crying. Maybe it was because of how close I was to death or how shocked I was. Whatever the case, I was glad Nat didn't know. I didn't want her to know.
