I smiled back.

((Yeah, you could say that, but also nervous, since it was incredibly last minute.))

I continued eating.

((So is it reasonable to say that you spaced the fact that your dad was sleeping?))

I laid my head on his shoulder.

((Yes, because that's exactly what happened. I was only thinking about myself.))

I smiled softly. "Thank you."

((You were thinking that hanging out with your friend would be fun, everyone forgets things sometimes. You aren't being selfish if you spaced something))

"For what?"

((I don't know. I still didn't do anything around the house. I just stayed shut up in my room. Now, I'm still gonna be shut up in my room, I'm just gonna do the dishes too. It's not like any of this will appeal to my case. It's closed and the ruling is final. But, seriously, thank you for trying to make me feel better. Can I confide in you about something?))

"For making sure I'm okay."

((Of course))

I nodded a bit and hid my face.

((Sometimes I feel like I'm a disappointment to my mom.))

I kissed her head.

((I highly doubt she thinks of you as a dissapointment))

I kept my face hidden, my sleeves were still rolled up from cooking.

((Sometimes I feel like one. The only thing I have going for me is my good grades and the fact that I'm a girl. My gender will only get me so far and school's out.))

I looked at her arms, then her wrists.

((I think you're being to hard on yourself))

I still had my face hidden.

((I think you're right, but I don't express my feelings well, so when I do, everything just comes out all at once.))

I wasn't going to ask. She'll talk to me when she wants to.

((I know the feeling))

I slowly relaxed, "I was pretty depressed and upset, that's really all there is to say about those scars," I mumbled just loud enough to be heard.

((I feel like our friendship is on par with Mar and Jessie. I don't want to burden anyone with my negative emotions and you always make me feel like I'm worth something.))

I slowly took her hands into my own.

((You're worth a lot because you're irreplaceable))

I stayed close, "I stopped because of you," I was still mumbling.

((Oh dear, I'm crying now.))

I kissed her wrists.

((It's true))

I stayed close, "I made an attempt, my sister caught me and called an ambulance. I was so pissed off at her I wouldn't even talk to her for three months." I wasn't sure why I was still talking, I just felt like I needed to.

((That's one of the nicest things anyone's said to me in a long time.))

I nodded and kissed her hands.

((Well people need to be nicer))

"I actually did cut myself at your mansion," I mumbled, "The first night."

((Yeah. I'm sorry, I've just missed everyone lately, not the prospect of certainly of not seeing anyone for three weeks has only made me feel worse. I wrote a song about it.))

I nodded a bit and kissed her head. "I promise to kiss you for every scar."

((I'm sorry that made it worse and I'm sure the song is good, I would love to hear it some time))

I smiled a little, "Thank you."

((I have the rhythm, it's alternative rock, but I'm just not the best at writing the rhythm. I can do it, it just takes time.))

"You're welcome."

((Cool))

"I should go back up before Storm takes over."

((Yeah.))

I nodded a bit, hut kissed her lips.

I kissed him back.
