Nothing Left to Say

I nodded. "Yes, ma'am. Just show me what I need to do."

I nodded slightly and grabbed a notebook, then opened it to show him how it was organized, "So I have everything listed on one side with the number I want to have of each thing listed next to it, then a column for the number I do have of each thing listed next to that so I know how much I need." I went through and changed the want to have numbers to account for an extra person.

I nodded slowly. It kinda made enough sense to me now.

I led the way to the basement so I could show him what  I meant.

I followed, looking around, trying to remember the way around.

I looked over the list of what we needed after we finished counting everything.

I watched her a bit. That was a lot of counting, but I was proud of myself for getting through it.

I leaned back a bit and started going through where we could go to get everything.

I watched her, studying her facial features, trying to imprint on my mind when she was deep in thought so I wouldn't bother or distract her in the future, assuming she let me stay here in the future, or I didn't run off in the future.

I finished planning it out in my head and looked at him, "Ok, ready to go?"

I nodded enthusiastically. I liked helping people.

I smiled slightly and grabbed a couple backpacks then packed some stuff in them just in case we got stuck overnight.

I watched. "So, what exactly are we doing?"

"Supply run I just want to be prepared in case we can't make it back here as quickly as I'm wanting to."

I nodded. "Do you need any help packing?"

"I still need to grab weapons."

I nodded. "I'll grab mine as well. I left them in my room."

I nodded slightly, "Sounds like a plan."

I looked around before back at her, my face heating up. "How do I get to my room again?" I started rubbing the back of my neck.

I led the way since I needed to get to my room too.

I followed, looking around, trying to remember key items on the way that would help me in the future.

I pointed out his room, then slipped into mine to grab what I needed.

I walked in and went through my stuff, finding my knives and crossbow with my arrows and other pointy sticks that I whittled into a good shaped to be launched quickly.

I quickly grabbed my knives and a gun for emergencies only.

I grabbed my small handgun, but that was a last resort. I holstered it with an extra magazine and walked outside of my room.
