" ugh! come on you stupid shadow!" i grunted while searching under my bed. "where are you??!!" why did i never have a shadow? i want my shadow! mabey as a companion to talk to, i don't know.

"CLARA!!! COULD YOU DO MY MAKE-UP AGAIN, PLEASE?" I yelled to my sister. My reflection was gone again. I didn't know why it disappeared, but it did. And the worst thing is, I am completely alone. There is no one else in the world with a reflection that likes to wander away.

I yawned, and as I woke up I tried to sit up. That was kinda hard when you are under your best friend's bed. I had snuck in and hid under there. She was yelling to her sister to help her with her homework and I guess that is what woke her up. My bestfriend's reflection sometimes is gone. We don't know why. Her reflection is the only one that does that, but i have taken all of the mirrors out of my house so she's not alone.
I whispered to my friend. "Psst! Ichanna here!" I hoped Clara wasn't in the room. I don't know how she would react to me.

I swirled around and watched as my best friend in the whole entire world crawled out from underneath my bed. "Um, NEVER MIND! ITS BACK!" I yelled down to my sister. I didn't want her to find Ichanna in my room without permission again. Clara would FLIP! "What are you DOING here?!" I asked in a loud whisper.

"I uhh..." I paused, I didn't know how to describe all the craziness that was happening. "I'm just here. Want my help with your make up?"

"YES PLEASE!" I said. I couldn't go to school looking like THIS!

"You look beautiful, but you probably wouldn't know because your reflection is gone. Beauty is a spirit, Makeup is an art." I pointed to her chair. "Sit." I then held out my hand waiting for my art tools.

I was glad Ichanna was here. She was AMAZING with makeup! "Thanks." I said.

As soon as she handed me her make-up kit i got to work, I blended her face out then focused on contouring. Soon after that I added the eyes and lips. I had tried a new old-fashioned look, and luckily, it turned out amazing. "I think this just might be my new favourite..." I mummbled.

I waited until she was done, then looked at the mirror in hope. I sighed when my reflection still wasn't there. "Why does my reflection hide all the time!" I said in exasperation. Then I looked back at Ichanna and said, "Thanks, Ichanna. Hopefully my shadow will come back again soon."

"Your welcome, but Who needs reflections?" I said trying to cheer her up.

"Normal people..." I said.

"You and I, We're not normal. And I don't want it any other way." I walked over to her window, and pulled out my back pack from behind her desk. "Come on dollop head, let's get to school."

I smiled. "I'll meet you there, k?" I said.

"Hey! Wait up, I'm walking with you!" I called after her. I walked into the hallway and realized that she was still in her pajama's. "Actually, You are in pajamas.." I looked down at my own clothes. I was wearing The same outfit from yesterday. "And can i borrow my spare outfit?"

"Ok, what ever! Just DONT LET CLARA SEE YOU!" I said.

i glumly started walking to school. i had ran out of time, and missed the bus. "grrr!! why can't i have a shadow??!!"

          I grabbed my spare out fit while Ahlyla grabbed her outfit. "Lylie, what are you going to be wearing?" I called to her.

"What else!" I laughed. I held up my outfit, laughing.

I smiled. We had approximations of the outfits of when we had first met. We had grown allot since then, so it is't the exact items but, it looks basically the same.  How did we remember our exact outfits? we had both worn out "lucky Outfits" on the first day of school
 After we got dressed we ran to school, we didn't want to be late. "Pudding Head!" I yelled as I ran out the door.

"Hahaha! Slow down!!!" I said, laughing.

"We're going to be late if we slow down! And if both of us are late again,  Mrs.Meyers is going to be so mad!"

"Oh, ok... But I'm taking a shortcut!" I said, eyeing the ally way coming up.

" DON'T GO THAT WAY!!" i cried out to a girl who was about to go through the alley. the ally where i lost my shadow. " the place is cursed."
