Keep Running, or it's GAME OVER.

A group of teens are running from the police, but not just any police, police in a game. Yes, in a game. The group of teens somehow got trapped in a video game, and have to figure out how to get out. Why are they trapped and being chased by police? They have no clue. Someone  has wiped their memories, and they have no clue why they are running, they only know that have to keep running. If they get caught, it's GAME OVER. But in this game, they don't just come back. If they die once, that's it. No retries. If they die in the game, they die permanently. Any damage that happens in the game is real too. If you die, you are erased from existence, and it's like you never existed. Everything of your's disappears, your family forgets about you completely. All these teens know is that they have to get out, together. Can these teens work together in order to get out, or will they be wiped from existence?

My character: Maximus Price. (Guy in case you didn't get that) Total rebel. Has black hair that is cut like Andrew Garfield (Look him up) that has an awesome swoop in the front. Electric green eyes, about 6'7, muscular. Black leather jackets, (I put some pics of them on album thing if you guys want to look) jeans, studded high top sneakers. (Basically hot and rebellious  )

It begins...

I woke up face down on the ground. I quickly pushed myself to my feet and looked around. This place looked familiar. There were tall, boring buildings, all looking abandoned. There was no one is sight. I brushed off my jacket and walked around, looking for someone. There was something on one of the buildings, so I went for a closer look. It was a wanted poster, for me!  It had a mug shot of me, and my name. Maximus Price. Why am I wanted? I shook my head and tried to think. I had no memories. Of anything. Well, not anything. I remember common things like people, just not names or faces. I can't remember my home, but I know what a house looks like. I remember food, and how it tastes, but not who I'd eaten it with. I remembered how to drive, and what cars look like, but not who taught me, or what the car looked like. I couldn't remember what year it was, or memories. In some ways, that's worse then death. Forgetting everyone you loved, everyone who loved you, all those silly childhood memories, just gone. No one should be put through all that. Even if they murdered someone, it wasn't worth it. I didn't know what I did, I could have killed someone and kneer know, or I could just be innocent. I don't think I could kill anyone, but then again, I'm not sure. I've basically forgotten who I am. I remember my name and everything, but I don't remember how I used to act, or how I used to be. I just know that things are messed up, and I have to get through it, or die trying, in order to remember everything. I gently squeezed the bridge of my nose and closed my eyes. Where the heck was I? I heard footsteps behind me. I turned to see 3 police officers.

"Maximus Price." One of them chuckled. "We've been looking for you for a while. Just come with us calmly and you wont get hurt." He said, while ginning like a maniac. I looked around desperately for an escape. There was an alleyway, that hopefully didn't lead to a dead end. I took off running, the police right on my tail. Sadly, I didn't have any luck. I ran right into a dead end, the police right behind me. I turned back towards them reluctantly, my hands in the air. They each had guns pointed at my chest. If they shot now, there was no way they could possibly miss. Great, I thought. I'm going to get killed by police, and never even know what I did. What a great way to die. I closed my eyes and waited for the sound of bullets, and the agony of the hits, then nothing, but nothing happened.

Malinea Topsit. Girl. Rebel, but protective. Kind, yet dangerous. Long, dark brown, almost black hair, blue, blue eyes.(go to my album to see a picture of her)

I had been on the roof of the building next to the alley when the kid, evidently called Maximus Price, ran into the ally, followed by the cops. I watched them pull out their guns and point. When Maximus turned around and saw them, he closed his eyes. I couldn't just stand there and watch him get shot to smithereens! I had to do something! So, I dropped down off the roof onto the nearest cop, effectively knocking him out of commission, though the others turned and saw me, then turned their guns to me. "Oh, you don't want to do that." I said, kicking the next closest cop's gun out of their hand, then punching him in the gut and giving him a quick taste of my knee. The next and last cop started to pull the trigger, but I hit his hand to the side, making him aim at the cop I had just disabled. He pulled the trigger, shooting his friend, then I took the gun and turned it on the cop. "Back off, or I'll shoot!" I said, slowly moving over to Maximus. When I got there, I whispered, "Are you ok?"

I stared at the girl, my jaw dropping in amazement. "Uh, yeah." I stuttered. "You don't happen to know why they were trying to kill me, would you?" I asked hopefully. Just knowing why would help, even if I did murder someone.

"Nope, no clue. None of us know why or how we got here or why these guys keep hunting us down." I told him as the cop put his hands up and slowly backed away.

"Us?" I asked her. "There are more?" And they all had missing memories? Who the heck would send people wherever this is, with no memories, and let them get chased by the police. What kind of messed up world is this?

My Character: Vixin Granger. Tall for guy, yellow hair, and freckles. Traditionally a good guy, but was transformed by the game. he's a total geek, big glasses, nerdy t-shirts, and a big IQ. he however, also loves video games. he could be a hacker if he didn't have morals about cheating.



"Malinea?" I asked, peeking into the alley way. "They're gone right?"

"Yep, lots. Or, at least there used to. Come on. Time to go." I said when I saw Vixin. "And yes Vixin, they're gone."

I flinched so bad when the guy peeked his head around the corner. "Who the heck are you people, and where am I?" I cried. I'm had a very stressful few minutes, and waking up with no memories was horrifying. "Seriously, where am I? Who are you people, and how did I get here?" I asked, ready to run at the first sign of threat. In a video game I'd just attack them or something, but this was real life. I didn't want to stand and fight in real life.

"I am Malinea, this is Vixin, and we have no idea where we are or how we got here."

I ran my hand through my hair, hyperventilating, and almost in tears. I ran my hand through my hair. "Why? Why would anyone do this?" I asked the strangers.

"No clue, but they must have a pretty twisted sense of humor."

"I still stand by my previous theory." I replied, "We are in a video game. There's no other possible explaination as to why we are all wanted by the police. I've never done anything as an offence to the law and It doesn't make sense that the cops would just reappear the next day if we weren't in some digital world."

"What ever, mister geek." I said, rolling my eyes.

Great, I thought, almost in tears. "How the heck would we be in a video game?" I shouted at the boy. What was his name. Oh yeah, The girl had called him Vixin. Im surrounded by geeks, I thought sadly, taking in all his geeky clothes.

"It is only logical." I said, "I have memorized all the faces of the cops and I know I've killed them all at least twice."

Right. Great. And I just killed at least one.

I rolled my eyes, fed up with this guy already. "Whatever, keep telling yourself that." I said whilst walking away. These people were insane. My top priority was food. Survival, not friends. I've never been good at making friends anyway. 
Suddenly it was like a searing agony in my mind. I'd remembered something! I tripped and lay on the ground, my hands on my head, groaning in agony. I wished I hadn't remembered anything. It hurt so bad! Memory wasn't worth the pain.

"They wouldn't keep reappearing if this was real life. Now the question is: how did we get here and why?" I said, ruffling my blonde wispy hair.
Suddenly I heard sirens in the distance. "Uh-oh..."

"Hey, you ok?" I asked in concern. Great, sirens. "Vixin, help me carry him!"

"Very well." I said, hoisting the brute onto my shoulders. "Don't worry." I said to him as we ran away from the sirens, "This happens to all of us when we remember something. Maybe this time it will be useful instead of just remembering what you got for your birthday last year..."

I remembered something else: Running. Terrified. Some machine above me. Someone said 'Let's get this over with. Put him in the game already.' The voice said. It felt like my brain was exploding, and I prayed I would black out. And thank goodness I did.

"Hurry!" I yelled as the sirens got closer. I knew I should have shot that cop!

"How close are we to the hide out?" I asked, running as fast as I could.

"Not far." I said, looking all around us to make sure we weren't being followed.

I groaned. I was dreaming, but I knew it wasn't just a dream. It was memories. They made no sense. Somehow I'd been put in a game as a punishment. Not for anything I'd done, it was what my family had done. It was a punishment. If you broke a rule, which I was unable to remember, they would take the oldest one in your family and put them in a game. And in the game, no one has ever gotten out. Getting put into the game had hurt like heck, but it was nothing compared to the memory wipe. I had screamed in extreme agony, then it was over. Then, as I was unconscious, they had put me into the game, which I still felt, even though I was unconscious. It had felt like I was burning alive. Then I woke up in the game. There was one major thing I remembered. There was a button. A big red button. You have to press it in order to get out of the game. The bad thing was, I didn't know where it was, I just knew it was in the game somewhere.
