I smiled and put my arm around her wais carefully,lifting her. She had to be very close to me, so it was awkward. Then I started running. Faster than a car. Faster than a plane. Almost faster than sound.

This didn't phase me, the speed. But how close we were did. I have never been this close to another guy without receiving injuries. This was very different. It was pleasant, and I knew he wouldn't hurt me.

I an up a wall, rocketing off a mile or so, careful to pad our landing with static charge. WE touched down, and I shot off again. Then I realised something. "Directions?"
She was so close to me... I had never been so close to another human being... it was... odd... my skin tingled, and it was hard to focus.
