I was really tempted to just start reading. I do this in every class, not because I didn't like my teachers, it was just because no teacher really was able to hold my attention for the entire class, I don't know why.

I nodded and walked to the alto section. There was only me and three other girls. Altos were always very rare to find. At my age, every good singer that got a solo was a soprano because of how their voices had changed.
Don't get me started on the altos that could sing soprano!

There was definitely some complaining about "altos sing too low" before eventually ten of them did.

They didn't say anything. Without altos, there really wouldn't be good harmonizing in choirs.
