Tea: I stared up at the ceiling. I couldn't sleep, I was on defensive mode... and I hadn't had a real bed, blanket, or pillows in years. I used my jacket for two of those, and the other was wherever the ground was when I felt like sleeping. So, I was on edge.

I slowly looked up at the other two girls. One of them I didn't know and she was a little older than me and Autumn. I looked over at my duffel. It was still fully packed. Not tonight, I'd wait a little bit, wait for them to explode on me or get close to it, then I'd leave.

For now, I couldn't sleep here. I slowly slid out of the bed and grabbed my jacket. I walked out of the room silently.

I nearly bumped into Jamie, and out of habit, I pulled out my knife and pointed it at her throat before I realized it was her. I put my knife away and walked past her.
