Nothing Left to Say

They hired me and had me get to work immediately.

I still waited.

Apparently the needed help with a surgery, great...

I was still really tired...

There was a demon following Tony... I sent out a back off message.

((I have the scene typed out on my laptop, so I'll probably post his possession tomorrow or something. Right now, I'm going to bed.))

I slumped in my seat and fell forward, my hold on my gun slipping. The next thing I knew, I heard a bang and a lot of pain in my stomach and I was wide awake.

I quickly refocused on what I was doing.

I looked around, then down. Darn it! I gritted my teeth. This is by far the dumbest injury I had ever received, and the most humiliating! But, I better be good about driving myself to the hospital. I clenched my fist and climbed into the drivers side. I refused to go down by shooting myself in the stomach!

I finished the surgery, luckily the person made it, they told me to rest and I was surprised to find that I was actually tired, stupid human blood...

There's just one little problem. I don't even know where the hospital is!

I sat down and looked around, there had been signs for miles pointing to the hospital.

I saw a sign. A literal sign this time, and I drove on my not-so-merry way.

I leaned back in my seat and closed my eyes. I can't wait until all the blood is out of my system.

My vision was getting blurry.

I almost fell asleep.

It was getting harder and harder to concentrate. All I wanted to do was sleep.

They said that the guy I had just done surgery on had driven themself here I still didn't know why they didn't just call 911... People are weird...

I jerked my head up and kept driving. The hospital was just around the corner.

I fell asleep for a bit.

I stumbled out of the car and got to the hospital. I walked through the front doors and collapsed finally.

I heard people calling everyone in to help and ran to the main area where I saw Tony, with a gunshot wound in his stomach. I quickly helped them get him on a gurney, then to surgery.

I had no idea what was going on.

I made my voice sound different when I talked to him, "We're going to have to do sugary, but we'll put you under so you won't feel a thing."

I heard a voice that sounded vaguely familiar. I gave a small nod. "It was an accident, Doc. I'm sorry."

"It's alright. Ok we're going to put this mask on you," I showed him the mask, "Then count to three. It will feel like you're falling asleep."
