Dragon Born (February's RP)

((Same. Alex is just really scared and bare my functioning right now.))

I looked her in the eyes before casting a small glace at her lips. My face heated up more.

(( so shall Hils make the first move or are we going to make it awkward and have them both chicken out?))

((Hills should make the first move.))

I saw Alex glance at my lips and smiled. "Well we've already confessed our love for each other, that pretty much gives you the go ahead for the first kiss. But, seeing how you're still processing things, I think I'll give you a little push," I said before leaning in and, admittedly, kissing a guy for the first time in my life. 

(( question, do you want them to be together forever or not? Because if you do, I have an idea))

((Ahhhh! Why do I have to be sick... Blech))

(( hey, at least you aren't addicted to a highly suspenseful TV series where each episode is about an hour long session of barely answering questions while providing two times more. Just saying))

((Forever as in immortal, or forever as in the rest of their lives? I'm fine with either!))

My eyes widened before I closed them and slowly returned the kiss. Admittedly, this was my first kiss, since I spent so much time running, I never slowed down for a girlfriend. She was the only girl I'd be willing to stop altogether for.

((Is it the Arrow? Well, my mom has made me watch all of it so I think I've experienced that. XD I'm basically caught up. And I'm sorry.))

((ooo, immortal would be awesome.... Can/should it start now with their first kiss? ))

(( and yes, it's arrow... And does basically caught up mean that you've seen the latest episode in season four? ))

((If you want. Like, immortal as never aging, but they can die if killed, right? Like dragons?))

Again, I felt my chest heating up, but since it wasn't uncomfortable I just ignored it in favor of the kiss, although soon we'd have to break it off so we could get a breath. In the back of my mind, I heard what sounded like tribal chanting in a slightly foreign language, but I wasn't paying attention to anything or anyone but Alex.

I thought I heard drums in the background along with an awesome choir composed of men, but that could be from that one movie I watched the other week. I mostly focused on Hillary.

(( omg, that's awesome. He's totally marking it off as a movie he watched! ))

Finally, I needed to breath so I leaned back, but as I did so, the heat that was building up in my chest spiked and then rapidly faded, along with the chanting on a loud, resounding note. I opened my eyes and gazed into Alex's beautiful brown orbs and I could have sworn that ring of gold wasn't there earlier. (( lol, you choose where the ring of gold in his eyes is, but I was thinking they both have rings of the other's eye color in their own. ))

((Yee, the latest episode. Although I didn't much pay attention :y I also just got caught up with The Flash.))

My heart was threatening to burst out of my chest at this point. She was an awesome kisser, and the background noise faded. I slowly opened my eyes and looked into hers. Wow, I must have been really oblivious, since I now noticed a ring of brown in her eyes.

((I imagine his ring around his pupils.))

(( and I imagine hers almost right around the outside, sorta like a two tone picture frame ))
We stood there for a long time, just staring into each others eyes. At some point, Nyria and ((Alex's dragon's name)) curled up around our feet, content just being there.

((Tierram.))

Slowly, I pushed a strand of hair out her face and rested my hand on her cheek. I kissed her forehead.

I felt a small smile creep onto my face as I closed my eyes, letting the warmth that came from his touch spread throughout me. After his lips left my forehead, I sighed. "We should be getting back to camp," I said, slowly opening my eyes and looking back into his. The ring of gold was still there, but it looked nice on him, almost as if it was always meant to be there.

I nodded slightly. I gently took one of her hands in my own and started to slowly lead the way out of the cave. "So, half elf, right?"

"Yep, you're half elf. And according to Nyria, my father is the king of the dragons, which makes me half dragon as well as royalty, " I answered, more than happy to hold Alex's hand.

I nodded and felt my ear with my free hand. "How is that possible?" I muttered.

I dropped my hand. "If one of my parents is an elf, does this mean I'm adopted or have a step parent?"

I shrugged. "It may be different with elves, but one of those two options is most likely," I said.

I nodded. "If I can understand animals, maybe I can talk to them as well!"
