Nothing Left to Say

I glared at him. "I don't pity myself," I growled before grabbing his wrist and pushing him away. "I've had my eye clawed out, I've been possessed, I've been poisoned, I've been shot, stabbed, abused since I was six, watched my parents get eaten by zombies, and my fiance died three times! What I have isn't pity, it's bad luck."

I moved towards him and lifted him up by the collar of his shirt. "Pity or not you're still dwelling on the past and it's not good, get over and live in today before it's too late!"

I growled. I hated to admit it, but he was right. However, I clenched my fist and landed a blow to his jaw.

"You really think a punch is going to hurt me?" I growled and dropped him. "If you really want to do something exorcise me."

I stood up and punched him again. "It might not hurt you, but it feels very therapeutic. Besides, I'm not going to exorcise you."

"Why wouldn't you? I'll just hurt more people."

"Because, I'd hate to make your rainbow fade."

"I'd hate that too but I'd hate it worse if I hurt Daniel before you exorcize me." I looked to the ground as I felt tears well up in my eyes, just the thought of hurting him...

I looked around. "Listen, if you really do care about this guy, you're not gonna hurt him, alright?"

"You don't know that... I use to think the same thing a long time ago and look where I am." I sighed.

I looked around. "I'm not gonna exorcise you, so it's no use asking."

"Then why am I here." I mumbled, walking back into the bunker.

I stood up when I saw him coming back, "How was I being careless?"

I looked at her, the tears still in my eyes. "You should've taken him to the hospital, whether you're a surgeon or not I still could've snapped and finished the job."

"I knew exactly what I needed to do. I knew exactly how to help him. And I knew you wouldn't come after him again."

I looked around. I got into the truck and slammed my head onto the dashboard.

"But I couldn't forgive myself if I had."

"Fine, here's the real reason. There wasn't enough time."

"That makes more sense I guess."

"I would've had to dive him because demon traveling an injured person is a bad idea. And the closest hospital is 40 minutes away. In that kind of situation every second counts. So don't lecture a trained doctor on how to treat a patient." I walked out to the garage were Tony was.

I rolled my eyes and continued walking down the hall.

I got in the truck.

I looked up at her. "Howdy."

"Where to?"
