Fyre and Flame

I looked back to see the exit, only to find that it wasn't there anymore, just more tunnels.

I wasn't sure what to do now, I just kept holding her.

I kept going forward, and soon, I got to a big arena like area.

I kissed her cheek.

I walked around. There were no exits. I felt like a Roman demigod, since it was basically a collisium. Suddenly, The seats were filled with hundreds of people.

I tried to figure out what she was dreaming about.

The crowd was cheering and booing, but mostly booing at me. Suddenly, a man appeared at the other side of the arena.

I watched her face.

The man had very dark skin, and black hair. He was tall, and his eyes were icy blue, and really stood out, even from across he arena. Suddenly, he held his hand out, and a large black dragon appeared in front of him, roaring and standing bold. It set it's gaze on me and spread it's wings.

I kept her close.

I took a deep breath and he pounced at me.

I rubbed her shoulder with my thumb.

I rolled out of the way, but only just. His jaws closed where I was seconds before. I really wished I had a gun or a sword! I mean, I've never used one, but I'm Hispanic, I could figure it out. I ran away, but accidentally bumped into the tall man.

I kept rubbing her shoulder.

He grabbed my shoulders and threw me down. Finally, I was still enough for the dragon to strike. I shot up from my sleep.

"What happened?"

"Nightmare."

"What happened in it?"

"There was this man, tall, African American, black hair, icy blue eyes... He had a huge dragon and they attacked me..."

"That's my king..."

I gulped. "He was huge. Huge muscles, very tall..." I started hyperventilating just thinking about facing him.

I nodded.

"Paper bag," I breath out, tugging at my collar as the air seemed to be getting thinner.

I nodded and grabbed one.

I reached my hand out for it.
