FEBRUARY'S Fun Prompt!

"Ok, but maybe after this project is done."

"Yeah." ((I know. I'm really sorry Addie... I was pretty disapointed myself... Please don't kill me...))

I carefully set aside the arm and started pulling out materials for the leg. "So was that your whole debriefing?"

"No, just the first segment. Like I said, it'll take a couple of days. they have to prepare everything, call in a couple of guys and stuff. I'll be able to spend most of the time with you."

"Cool. Umm sorry about all the plastic and tarp I didn't want to make a mess..."

"Oh, it's fine. It actually would have been fine if you'd done it on the plain floor. I don't see how plastic wrap avoids a mess, though." I reached up to brush a hair behind her ear, but pulled back quickly again, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. "Sorry... are you okay with me... how do I put this without sounding dirty... contacting your body? Possibly for long periods of time?"

((I love Fanfiction. After hearing your science lessons, I want to see how your character explains the ancient magic of my character!))

I laughed, "It's fine. And the plastic stops it from making a mess because it stops the mess from getting on the floor then I can fold the mess up into it the plastic and put it away."

I brushed the hair back as I slipped my arm around her waist as I'd been aching to do the whole time. "Yes, but plastic wrap is sticky..." I was attempting to be humorous... I obviously had a lack of experience.

I smiled at him, "oh well it isn't too bad, its more like the stuff they put on furniture anyway." I looked back at my project and pulled out a few more things then got to work.

((These theories are actually theories I came up with as I watched the shows and read the books. As well as being mixed with some other general theories I've come up with.))

"Hmm. Are you not home much or something?"

"No not really, I'm on the run most of the time."

I chuckled and kissed the back of her head. "Well, you won't have to run anymore."

"thanks," I finished up part of the leg and added a bit of magic to it, then looked at it trying to decide what to do next "hmm..."

I leaned forward, pointing out a small wire. "See this? Don't use nobintube there; that's what caused the last near-explosion." I quickly changed it to copper with alchemy.

"Oh thanks, I'll remember that," I replied blushing slightly that was such a dumb mistake.

"Yeah. That's how they did it in the 90's... it caused a lot of electrcal fires."

"Yeah, I may or may not have caused fires because of that before. Luckily I'm fireproof..."

"Here, not that you don't know, but some gold fibers would work great here."

"True." I quickly added the fibers to it, "Thanks."

"You're welcome. Also -- not that it would have helped on the arm, but it will here -- you used a titanium bar here, but I have a Destokpian metal that would make walking a whole lot easier for Ed." I got up hesitantly, not wanting to leave Olivia's warm, perfect being. I walked over to a drawer, pulling out the small bar of metal, walking back over and sitting down by Olivia, handing her the bar and putting my arm around her again.

"oh wow this stuff is so cool!" I yelled in excitement then realized I had yelled, "oops sorry."

"No, yell all you want. You're cute when you're excited. Besides, no one can hear you. these walls are impenetrable -- espescially by sound."
