I sighed, rubbing my temples. "This was really not the best time for you to drop in, Zane. And that was a single use proton bridge, so now you're stuck here at HQ while I go to my debreif." I looked at Oliva, then Zane. I'd been wanting to spend a bit more time alone with Olivia since she'd probably be leaving soon.

"Really? You can use my training complex. It's the door down the hall to the left; just find an open space. The bathroom is the door on the right, just in case. Zane, I think I'm familiar with the stitching on that jacket; you might find the training rooms in the hub a good place to exercise your spinjutsu. My AI butler can direct you if you want; just press that button on the wall over there."

I smiled at her, kissing her forehead. "You're welcome." I froze, glancing at Zane. "Ah... well, I've got to get ready; I don't have a ring to instantly dress me anymore."

"Uuuh..." I knew what could be blown up here, and how to blow any of this up if I wanted to, but I decided to keep the list of destructible items to myself since Olivia seemed to be able to be a bit crazy. "You know what, if you justy don't take anything from the drawers or cabinets, I think you'll be fine. But in case you need something-" I looked up at the ceiling, a habit I'd developed even though I didn't need to, it gave me some semblance of talking to an actual being when I was talking to my computer- "Al, if Zane or Olivia need anything while I'm at debreifing, please guide them. Within reason, of course." I looked back down at them; "Not that I don't trust you, but I don't know Zane very well."

I chuckled. "Well, this base is indestructable, unless, of course, you've gained some certain knowlege of physics and the manipulation of such. Alright, I've got to shower." I turned to a tall cabinet, pulling a pair of white synthetic slacks and a white undershirt off a shelf.

Hmm now what do I need to set up... maybe regular targets so I don't freak anyone out... yeah. I pulled a couple targets out of my backpack and set them up, along with a couple of my inventions, which hopefully won't blow up or catch anything on fire.

I stepped in the shower, turning the water to hot. I grimaced as it poured down my scarred back. Every time I showered, which wasn't often since I could clean myself in other ways, the water, either hot or cold or warm, felt like acid dripping down my body. My skin was fairly new; it had also grown from barely anything, so there were a lot of spots that were almost like permanent severely irritated rashes, and all of it still felt like it had needles poking through it. I may have been fairly immune to pain, but when no one was watching i grimaced. I may not make it sound bad, but the intensity of the pain was far more immense than most would imagine. I finished my shower, stepping out and drying off. I pulled on the leather-like pants and the undershirt, stepping out the door and opening the hall closet doors. I hadn't worn my physical uniform for quite some time, and I hadn't exactly kept track of it.

I finished setting up, and wasn't entirely sure what to do next, then I realized that my knee was probably a little weak or that I at least needed work on my form for running and other things since I had gotten use to having a knee that liked to stop working, so I started running laps which wasn't very hard Kenneth had done a great job healing it.

I finally found the jacket, slipping it over my undershirt. I stepped across the hall into the training room. Olivia was running laps around the complex and I stopped her as she was passing.
