I sung less enthusiastically. I'd done nothing to help her. I'd done nothing to help anyone, so far. I wanted to, but I didn't know how... I looked over at Lexi. She was so good at everythiong I wasn't. Maybe that's why I liked her in the first place... or the fact that she was just perfect.

I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand and smiled. My eyes were most likely red and puffy from crying, but I had good friends who cared about me. I started singing along as well, but didn't really know it, so I resorted to humming.

I felt a pair of eyes look at me. I looked over. Ike. He didn't quite get it. He was probably the best things that had come into my life. Despite how much I hated my own voice I sang with him, because I knew that he liked it.
