"Why did you leave?"

I sighed. "You wouldn't get it." was my reply. I couldn't think of anything else to say without giving away everything that I'd been holding in for years, and it was true. Her life was so much happier than mine, someone so happy wouldn't understand how I've felt my entire life, why I've always stayed away from athers and visa versa.

"Just try to explain, I want to help."

"After years people can stand being around me, but why? Why do people suddenly like me? How can people trust me? How...?" I choked on my words. I bit back my emotions like always.

"You just haven't been hanging out with the right kind of people."

I closed me eyes. That was true, and I knew it know, but I hadn't at the time, but I wasn't fully satisfied with her reply. "We both know I wasn't with the right kind of people, I was with awful people, yet you trust me, and I don't get it. How can you trust me after all of that?"

"You've always completed your mission always, but you didn't this time even though you had plenty of opportunities. So I know that if you were going to kill us you would've a long time ago, and I trust that you aren't going to kill us."

((I am pretty sure I am going to burst my eardrums because my brother has ticked me off, and my music keeps getting louder when people do that...))

I blinked. That made sense, in a way. "I hope your trust doesn't end up being misplaced..."
