I glanced back at Lizzy and realized she had been faking it and had heard what happened to our parents, "Lizzy..." She was crying, I quickly unbuckled myself and climbed back to sit by her.

I whispered quietly in her ear and she slowly calmed down and eventually fell asleep. Once she was asleep I climbed back to the front and buckled myself back in.
