The Power of the Eyes

"Okay, and why did you attack me with a tree over some stupid gun?"

"Because it was important!!!" I yelled at her this time with a deep voice, my body tensing. I then looked around and realized what i did and slumped giving an awkward smile. "N-not like i knew what i was d-doing with it or anything." i said hesitantly.

I looked at him a little cautiously. "What's wrong?"

I frowned and stood up straight. "Ugh, im done." I said. I clenched my eyes shut and when i opened them, i had dark circles around my eyes and my eyes flashed red. I then smiled, jumping into the air and using my powers to float myself. "I really can't keep doing this game, i hate repeating questions."

When he stood up, I was pushed onto my back. "What are you doing?" I called up to him.

"Going to take care of business." I called down to her, my voice was now deep.  I motioned my hand at a garden shovel and motioned it back to the tree roots holding my dad. I cut through them and as he fell i picked him up with my own ray. I brought him to me and i laughed. "Can't stay here any longer or I'll be toast." I said before flying off with my dad.

"Oh, no you don't," I growled as the tree branches extended and started wrapping around his ankles long enough for me to climb the tree and grab a couple apples as I ran on the branches to him.

I tried to fly out of the trees grasp but it didn't work. I motioned my hand to push my dad away so she couldn't get to him. "I don't have time for games, Emma" i growled

That's it, illusion time. I made Braydon think that Emma, my dad and I had disappeared, and my dad think that Emma, Braydon and I had disappeared, obviously we hadn't and Emma and I could still see clearly so hopefully this would make things a bit easier.

I watched as everyone disappeared including my dad. "No, n-n-n-n-no, no,no,no." I looked everywhere for them while i was still stuck in the tree roots. I quickly found some cutters and cut the roots off of my ankles and a floated myself down. I walked around the area and walked inside the van, grabbing a little something on the way out. I couldn't find them and i felt disappointed. I leaned my back against the van and slid down it sitting down, i then hugged my knees and hid my face.

He looked around, no one. Then who was still holding him up. He felt the grip getting looser, he was going to fall once the ray disappeared.

I let Brayden see me and stepped closer to him.

I ignored the step closer and sat in the same position.

"Help, somebody get me down from here!" He called as he kept slowly slipping.

I changed the illusion so Braydon couldn't see our dad again and I got Emma to keep him up, "Braydon."

"What?" I said without looking up

"I want to help, but I can't if you won't let me."

"I don't need your help."

"At least tell me what's going on."

After making sure they're dad was still in place, I climbed off the tree.

"I don't know." I said lifting my head up but looking away.

"Do you know how I can fix whatever happened here?"

"How should i know? I'm just Braydon."

I nodded slightly.

"Let's just go," I said standing up still not looking at her. I shoved my hands in my pockets and walked back towards the direction of the house, staring at the ground the whole time.

"I can ground-travel us, if you want."
