I took the cake out since it was ready and stayed making frosting while it cooled.

I mixed the frosting together and let Aiden try it when it was done, he grinned at me and I let him help frost the cake when it was cool enough.

I found some food coloring and added it to the extra frosting until the frosting turned blue, then I put the last of the frosting in a plastic bag and pushed it all into a corner. I cut the tip off and used it to write 'Happy Birthday Aiden!' on the cake along with some balloons.

I checked on the ice cream. "Sorry, I'm gonna give the kid cavities, but I have a bunch of unused toothbrushes and toothpaste!" I pulled out the ice cream.
