Nothing Left to Say

I walked back into the bedroom with supplies in hand, and soon noticed the smoke surrounding Daniel. "Need any help?" I walked over to him.

"Please!" I insisted pushing him closer to me. "Hold here and here, so I can unbust this screw." I worked in between his arms, feeling his breath against my neck.

I dropped the bandages and gauze and held where he wanted me to. "Like this?" I whispered so I wouldn't hurt his ears, considering how close I was to him. My cheeks heated up a little.

"Exactly, thanks.." I started to trail off. I loved hearing his voice so quiet, it made him seem like... A gentle giant. I smiled as I finally got the screw loose and the smoke had stopped. I ever so happily kissed Asurath on the cheek.

I blushed more. "Anything for you." I smiled softly and let go on the arm, backing away a little from him.

((That is the best description of Asurath I've ever heard, a gentle giant, the Big Friendly Giant, the BFG! You'll never hear the end of this now! Also, I probably almost just died.))

((In a stupid way, I was eating my cookie crisps, and I have milk in my cereal, so it made the piece slippery, so I accidentally almost swallowed it whole, and I choked on it with a single cough, but then it slid back into my mouth and I'm alive. Plus, no one in my family would have heard me coughing since I'm all alone in my room and no one knows the hymlic, and I would have died from choking on a piece of cereal and unwitting isolation.))

((I don't think you should be trusted with cereal.))

I smiled one last time before going over and picking the gauze and bandages off of the floor. I was hesitant for a second, I looked worryingly at Asurath. "Do you think maybe you can handle helping me change bandages?"

"I'd be more than happy too." I walked over to him and took the gauze and bandages. "Just lay down for me."

"Lay down? You're not going to help me by yourself are you?" I teased. I chuckled and sat at the edge of the bed, taking my bandages off. It was bleeding pretty badly, it was all red and it stunk. I gagged, suddenly feeling nauseous. They really had ripped it out pretty badly. "On second thought...."

I rolled my eyes and smiled a bit. "See? Now just lay back and let me handle this." I put my hand on his back and helped him lay down slowly.

I closed my eyes and started to lay down.

"When can I be out of the hospital?"

One he was fully played down I began replacing the gauze and bandages as quickly as I could without hurting him.

"Soon... but you'll have to be in bedrest at home for two months."

"Better than a hospital."

I smiled softly. "I'll have to make sure you stay in bed."
