New Year, New February RP?

I smiled when I saw it, "It's beautiful." I had tied my hair up into a messy bun while we were walking because it kept getting caught on branches and it was hot now that we were moving more.

I set my stuff down and walked over to the river bank, on top of a rock. I got down to my knees and scooped some water into my hand. "It's clean!" I announced. I rushed over and grabbed my lance, sticking it into the water. "And it's not very deep, so we don't have to swim in it, just wade." I looked up at it. "This will be good to camp at, we can use the water to shower and drink for another day.

"I wish we had soap... it's not really a shower without it..."

I frowned a bit and looked at the forest. "We can use some of the herbs for scent, I know I saw some lavender and mint a few yards away. Until then, this will do just fine. But for now, we'll set up camp and I'll try to make you some soap stand-in. Okay?"

"Okay, thank you." I helped him set up camp quickly.

I gathered leaves for the insulation, especially since we were on rocks, which were colder. I made a thick pile before rebuilding our forts. "Hmm... I'll need to build something to hang our clothes on, also something to dry ourselves on," I muttered, looking through our supplies. The clothes liner would be easy. I looked for rope.

I handed him the rope and stifled a small yawn, "How far did we hike?"

"I'd say a mile or two for about an hour. It's nothing to me, I jog two miles twice a week through sand. But, however, you had to go through branches and the likes, so, rest. I'll figure still out. I'll wake you up for dinner." I started measuring the rope.

I nodded slightly and was out as soon as I laid down.

I got two long branches and whittled them into poles before slowly carving a hole into both of them before treading a rope in one and tying a knot so it couldn't come out. I did the same for the other one and stuck them both in the ground as far a I could, getting tension on the rope. I took my shirt, socks, and shoes off before walking over to the camp. I grabbed my blanket and set that at the edge of the water before slowly lowering myself in, the water immediately coming up to my knees.

I stayed asleep, fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, I didn't have any dreams.

I waded a bit deeper, the water going up to my waist by the time I was at the water fall. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes before slowly ducking in, treating it like a shower.
It did feel like a shower, and it was amazing after who knows how long.

I slept until he woke me up.

I had changed my pants when I woke her up, but I still kept my shirt off since I dried off and the sun was shining, making it a little warm on the rock.

I rubbed my eyes a bit and felt my face heat up when I noticed that he wasn't wearing a shirt.

I smiled. "The water feels great. I made a fruit salad out of some of our fruit that is closer to going bad." I held out a bowl to her. "I also carved a wooden bowl, but I've been working on that for about a day."

"Thank you."

((Ooh speaking of fruit I wonder if my peaches are ripe yet...))

"You're welcome." I walked over to where I set my bowl and started eating, looking around. "You were asleep for a couple hours."

((they are, I ate one))

I nodded slightly and ate my fruit.

((Nice!))

"The pressure is great, I feel a lot more relaxed because my muscles aren't so tense. Once I finish this, I'm going to take a nap because of it. You should try it."

"Sounds good." I had to force myself not to stare.

I continued eating my fruit before glancing at her. "Are you okay? You see distracted..." I trailed off as I started to realize why her face was so red. I stared down at myself. "Oh."

"It's fine, don't worry about it, i just don't want to be rude and stare."

I started laughing. "It's okay. I honestly don't know what I was expected. As I said, I treat my body like a temple," I flexed one of my biceps for emphasis. "So it's no mystery as to why I'm so incredibly built."

"Uh huh." I looked back down at my bowl trying to get control of my blush while I ate.
