I nodded. "I'll get to work on that later." I looked around before shaking my head. "There's nothing we can do about it now, though. We can just continue east like planned after a day or two here."

I nodded slightly and let go of him, then dug through my clothes for the navy blue sweater I had seen earlier, I was starting to get cold again.

I got my clothes and found a nice grey hoodie. I slid that on and went over to the fire, getting it started so we could eat. I kept an eye on her weary of letting her out of my sight now.

I kissed her head and rubbed her arm, staring at the fire. I felt like I just needed to be close to her right now. It was scary what we were going through, and I don't get scared, but any situations we were facing were not looking good.

I thought about it. "It'll take time if we use wood, but if we use an excess sheet, that will literally take five seconds, but it's more likely to blow away unless we anchor it down with something..." I kept thinking about the different benefits of both of them.
