((Go ahead, I am literally out of ideas.))

((Oof. At east I have some plans? Or are you just bored of this entire thing? We can just stop if you don't want to continue this...))

Everyone went to sleep in their own rooms after a while, and I went into my temporary shutdown mode for the night. I got up early the next morning and left my door open so that everyone would be able to get me if they needed me. I sat on the bed reading when I heard light footsteps head up the stairs, making me glance up in curiosity. Nic appeared up the stairs and looked at the different closed doors before noticing me sitting down. He headed over.
"Have the others gotten up yet?" he asked, seeming a little impatient.
"Unfortunately, no," I replied. I took in the various horse hairs on his clothes. "I can get them up while you look after the horses."
"How did--?"
"I analyzed the hairs. Now go." He hurried back downstairs and I started knocking on our companions doors.

((I'm not bored, I just have no brain cells to spare anymore, lol. I've been designing a house for the last bit and I finally finished... the ground floor.))

I shot up, pointing with my gun until I realized it was just someone knocking. I put my gun away and walked out of the room, looking around.

"We're heading out. Nic's downstairs, with enough horses for all of us,"' I told her, seeing the way she seemed defensive.

I nodded rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "Sounds good," I muttered, stretching out before making my way outside.

I knocked on all of the other rooms that my friends were staying in loudly enough that it should wake everyone up. Maddie exited her room immediately.
"We going?" she asked.
"Yes. Nic is outside waiting," I answered. She nodded and hurried downstairs. I didn't doubt that she was headed to saddle up her own horse.

I wanted coffee. A nice mug of pumpkin spice coffee. I found Nic. "Hey, how'd ya sleep?"

Nic: "Like a rock," I replied, smiling faintly. I tossed her the reigns to a white stallion, one of the several horses that I had borrowed from a farmer nearby. We wouldn't get to the ruins fast enough without them. "What happened to your ear?" I asked her, noticing a faint bruising. Had she gotten into a fight while I'd been asleep?

"Oh, Maddie did that. We got into a fight, it was fun!" I gently petted the horse to build up some companionship.

((Sorry, I was making guac since we're about to eat dinner!))

((It's fine. I'm watching Criminal Minds and working on my book. Speaking of books, I found a place that resells used books that are in good condition and I bought the entire RA series (worth over $100) for $58 and today I bought books I need to read for IB English (5 of them) for $20 and this is a great thing))
"Did you lose?" I asked her. Maddie bounded out the door.
"Alistair stopped us because of Matt. Your friends are boring," Maddie told me. I smiled a little bit as she headed over to saddle up Bumper.
I wondered if Matt had woken up the others yet.

((Noice!))

I mounted my stallion as the others came out. "Good morning, everyone!" Alistair called cheerfully. Oh great, a morning person, a happy morning person at that.

"Morning," I called back happily, though still at least a couple levels less cheerful than he was, even after having had coffee before heading out. "I hope everyone can ride horses." I knew Aiden couldn't, but I would let him choose between getting a quick learning session and riding with me.

Aiden stumbled out, looking exhausted. "Dear God, please tell me that there is coffee available somewhere close," he groaned.

Liv: I walked downstairs and grumbled about having to be awake so early, Artemis was the same way.

Gen walked out after them.
"Did I hear someone ask for coffee?" she asked, carrying a coffeepot and a couple mugs. I smiled at her and my friends. She instantly went about offering people coffee. I turned to Artemis.
"Can you ride?" I asked him.

Artemis: “no, but how hard can it be?”

I grinned. "That's the spirit." I glanced back to Aiden. "I'll give you two a quick lesson when we get into open area."

Aiden: I nodded a bit, chugging my coffee.

"We'll walk with the horses for about five minutes to the west and I'll give you guys your lesson," I told them.
"Will I be expecting you guys back in a couple days?" Gen asked. I shook my head at her slowly.
"Probably not, I'm afraid. It could be a while before all of us end up here again," I replied.
She frowned and patted my arm. "Be safe," she said, then walked back inside.
I glanced at my friends. "Grab the reigns of a horse and lets get walking," I directed them, grabbing Bronze's reigns and leading the way.

Alistair: I started following him. I new how to ride a horse, I loved them.

The moment we hit open fields I pulled Aiden and Artemis to one side to show them how to ride, showing them just how to mount a horse, where and how loosely to grip the reigns, and showed them the correct commands to be able to turn, stop, slow, and start. I turned Bronze back towards the two of them after showing them. "Any questions?"

Artemis: I shook my head, this all sounded pretty simple.

I nodded at him. Horses were inquisitive, and most of the time after riding for a little while people would improve dramatically. I glanced at Aiden, wondering if he was just a relaxed about this as Artemis was.

Aiden: I gave him a thumbs up. "I'm good."
