I glanced at my companions again then back at the android. "Take us hostage and get us there," I insisted.

I walked over to Nic. I trusted him. "Hey, we should do Get Help."

"What?" I asked, paying enough attention of the surface level to learn what he was talking about all while still thinking more about what to do from here.

I laughed a bit. "Nothing, nothing. Let's do this!"

I glanced at him and Artemis. "None of us really look quite roughed up to be believably taken as captives," I told them, trying to think of the best way to look like we were in worse condition than we were. "Mess up you hair and clothes," I told them, already making my own hair and clothes disheveled.
"We'll need to take any visible weapons," the android told me. I turned my weapons belt around so that my blades were hidden in my cloak.

I ran through my hand through my hair, messing it up significantly. I gave up my knives as well, but no one would know my bracelet was a weapon. "Does anyone have any blood pouring out of them?" I asked.

I shook my head at him then looked at an android. "Punch me," I insisted.
"What?" it asked, looking at me like I was crazy.
"I need to look more bruised and batter than I am," I replied. "So punch me in the face." It sighed and looked like it didn't want to, glancing at my friends uncertainly before weakly punching me, not even hard enough to bruise me. I raised an eyebrow. "Really?" I asked. It hesitated again before decking me across the cheek with a blow that glanced my nose. I felt a small trickle of blood from my nose as my cheek flared up in pain. "Nice shot," I replied after a second. I also decided that I would purposely let my limp be very visible. If the people saw my limp they would assume the androids had injured my leg and that I wasn't much of a threat.

"Should someone punch me, or is my face too pretty to be bruised?"

I smiled a little. "It's probably better if you look more beat up, too," I told him, then glanced at Artemis. As long as Aiden and I looked visibly worse than it would be okay for him to look less beat up, as if he had surrendered after the two of us had obviously lost. Besides, with him being the youngest I couldn't help but not want him to have to get actually hurt as well.

"Alright, who wants to lay a couple on me? This might be someone's only chance!"

I rolled my eyes. We didn't have time for this, so I quickly punched him across the face and turned back to the androids.
"Go head and restrain us now," I told the androids. They pulled out some high-tech handcuffs and secured then around our wrists with our arms behind our backs, handing me a button and explaining that the button would be what would unlock them. I nodded and easily hid the button in my hands. "Take us there." I made sure to quickly inform them about our other friends, telling them to stop if we ran into them.
With that the androids led us inside, two leading the way and one behind us, the other three each picking one of us and grabbing an arm to show they were in control of us. I made sure to limp heavily as I glanced around the building, keeping an eye out for my friends whilst memorizing the path we took through the ruins.

Yeah, I was kinda dazed from the punch. He laid a really good one on me. I think my nose was bleeding.

Our other friends rounded a corned, looking at us in shock. Matt stepped forward immediately as if to be able to stop the androids from taking us anywhere.
"Stop!" I exclaimed quickly. "We already made them deviate. We're purposely posing as prisoners. It's the quickest way to get to the people behind CyberLife." I wondered how strange that sounded to our other friends like Alistair and Maddie. Matt nodded, though, as if agreeing with my plan.

Alistair: "You know, that's a brilliant idea! I wish I thought of that. We'll stay out of your way." That was honestly not the most unusual plan I have ever heard, so I was just going to roll with it.

I paused and looked to the androids in the room, thinking. "Is there a way that we can have them see what's happening?" I asked. "That way--"
"We could coordinate a surprise attack," Maddie interrupted. I nodded in agreement.
They all paused. "I could link minds for communication with one of the androids with you," Matt suggested. "Only the android and I would hear it."
"Do that, then. That way we can signal you guys for when to step in to be able to throw to balance of the fight our way."
Matt's LED went yellow as he made eye contact with a different android. "There. Communications are linked," he assured us.
"I guess we'll see you again in a bit," I said, grinning at the other group.

I patted his shoulder. "Good luck."

"I'm sure this will be fun," I joked a bit. Then the androids led Aiden, Artemis and down several different hallways and into what I recognized as an elevator. We all piled in the elevator and it headed down. I glanced around slightly, keeping my nerves hidden. If the person who organized this was nervous then it wouldn't look like we had good odds to the others. A quiet ding sounded as the elevator doors open. I could see people milling around at the other side of the long room we'd entered, looking over as we exited the elevator. I let the android that held my arm take most of my weight as I limped across the room, making a show of trying to pull myself free of it's grasp. This I had done before. Granted never with robots, but it was a familiar scenario.

I started struggling too. I had to get into a certain mind state that this was real and that Nic was badly hurt and that hurt my heart a little.

"Are these all of the people that attacked?" One of the people asked as we got closer, stopping us. They clearly didn't seem to believe that.
"No," the lead android replied, picking up on that lack of belief. "There were two groups. The other group is larger and fighting more and still being subdued."
"Interesting," another person mused. They looked at me carefully, barely glancing at the others. I wondered why that was. Did they know who each of us were? From conversations with previous enemies it sounded like they had known about the different worlds and gotten information from each other. Perhaps the woman knew that this was my world. "Why attack?" she asked.
I glared at her. "I don't take kindly to people invading my world," I spat back, choosing my words carefully and gauging her reaction. I noticed people in the back working with technology. Androids mulled about with them calmly.
"Invading? We were never violent with the people in your world," she replied.
"That doesn't mean you weren't planning on it," I snapped back. She seemed to appreciate that answer.

"Who are you and what are you doing in a Renaissance world? There's probably a million other places with better tech, no offense, Nic."

A man stepped forward now too. "When you can create the technology it doesn't matter where you go," he replied. I glared at him. That sounded an awful lot like the theories we made. They came here because people didn't have the technology to defend against this kind of stuff. That meant that we had to stop them. I glanced around trying to figuring out the perfect moment to strike. It didn't seem like there really would be one.
"You trying to take over my home is a mistake," I hissed.
"And why is that?"
"Because you underestimate the people of this world," I insisted. The closest people laughed in amusement. I pressed the button and the cuffs fell to the floor, leaving my hands free as I immediately grabbed a dagger from my belt and hurled it forward. A seconds later the man fell to the floor, the blade through his chest.

I activated my vibranium and started punching.

People and androids all scrambled for guns. I grimaced and shared a glance with the android that was connected to Matt, already letting them know that we were going to want that backup. A bullet whizzed past my face, grazing my ear. I rolled to the side, ducking behind a desk, grateful that the room was obviously a work place because of the number of hiding places.

I grabbed Nic's hand and used the vibranium that would otherwise form my mask to form the mask on his head so he didn't get shot it in. Then I rushed back forward, attacking whatever was shooting me.
