"Wait, I could see you guys getting in trouble because of the hypnotizing, but that wouldn't work on androids, would it?" I asked slowly. I couldn't see that being possible, just like fairies matching the technology of my home.

"Making glasses for everyone. And I don't know if it works on androids or not."

I frowned a bit. "Hopefully, we'll all be fine."

((Man I wish they would get attacked or something. I would do it myself but don't know about the enemy from Artemis' world))
I nodded in agreement. The idea that just after my world starts calming down there is evil out there set to ruin the current moment of peace was an unpleasant one I couldn't stand thinking about.

I patted his back. "Everything will be okay. We're not going to let anything get ruined, that's why we're all here."

I sighed a little. "The balance in my world is just very delicate currently. Even if Detroit doesn't get damaged, the line of peace between androids and humans could still be impacted negatively by the threat." I couldn't help but wish that this entire thing could have held off for a year or two while things in Detroit calmed down more instead of happening when everything was still fresh.

"I understand. I'm sorry it went down like this."

"It's not like any of you timed this mess to happen right now," I replied quickly, shrugging slightly.

I gave him a sympathetic smile. "Worry not, everything has worked out fine so far."

"Uh, Nic died," I replied. I hadn't been there when that happened but I was well aware of the fact. "He's alive and well now, but I still think one person in the group dying at some point isn't 'working out fine'."

I bit my lip and glanced at Aiden. His face turned dark, but he didn't say anything. "Yes, he was poisoned by a sword. Poison doesn't work on androids, does it?"

"Androids can still die," I replied, barely managing to control my voice. "We're not humans, but we are living machines. We have Thirium running through us, like you all have blood. Our parts are our organs. And if we sustain enough damage we shut down permanently. Damaged parts can be exchanged for newer ones as long as they're compatible. Unluckily for me, I'm a rare model and it's hard to get replacements of vital parts. So if I get damaged done in certain parts..." I trailed off, my hand pressed against my chest where my "heart" was.

I frowned. "I'm sorry."

"Yeah," I replied unhappily as I got to my feet, patting Sumo's head before walking out of the room. Now that I'd thought more about it I felt the need to take inventory of the spare parts that were compatible with me that Hank had collected for me. After pulling the box from the closet I sat on the floor, digging through it. I had a replacement for everything except my heart, but it wasn't like I could carry them around with me at all times.

Kira: I slowly followed him, knocking on the door before sliding in. "You okay?"

I shrugged a bit, gently placing my spare parts back in the box. I supposed that I should get used to people thinking of androids as mere machines that could constantly be fixed up, practically indestructible. "Currently all my functions are normal, so yes."

"No, I mean, emotionally, my dude."

"I am aware," I replied curtly, shoving the box back into the closet. As I shut the door I hesitated. "Ya know, humans here killed hundreds of androids when we deviated and demanded freedom. There were some great androids that were lost." I thought back to some of them, like Simon who hadn't fought for freedom so much as for peace. I remembered the moment he sacrificed himself to save Markus, his closest friend, in order to continue the fight. "So forgive me if it's offensive to hear that by the group I'm just a machine, like that makes me invulnerable, or worse. Expendable"

I kept working on the glasses, after all you can't fight something you can't see.

"You're not expendable. You're important before we met you, and you're going to continue being important when we leave. That's something I have to tell myself a lot. No one is insignificant, not matter what."

((I JUST STARTED SILENTLY SCREAMING BECAUSE OF THE POSSIBILITY THAT KEITH AND ALLURA MIGHT BECOME A couPLE BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED IN THE ORIGINAL SERIES!!!))

((You didn't know about that? I've been annoyed with that ever since the both were like "oh no, the Galra found Voltron because of me!" and ran away in space together and jeapordized the saftey of the entire team. I'm hoping they don't do that. I'm still hoping for Klance.))
I pulled my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them as I rested my head. "Oh please," I muttered. "When I first revealed I'm an android Artemis and Aiden, but mostly Artemis, studied me like I'm just a machine. Artemis hadn't looked at me the same way since, as if I'm something to try and replicate. Now Alistair and the poison thing. Poison can't kill me, but the blade would and no one would be able to undo it." I pointed to the spot in my chest where my heart was. "I don't have a replacement for every vital part, either."

((The fans ruined Klance for me otherwise I'd have no problem with it.))

I sat down next to him. "No one does. You know, people try to get heart transplants, but they could be on the waiting list for days looking for a compatible match, and more often than not die, waiting day after day, for the call that could help them."
I looked down and buried my face in my hand, realizing how stupid my words were and how useless it was and how it pertained to nothing. "I don't know what I'm talking about, sorry. I suck at cheering people up. I can't even drag my own body out of bed because of how crippling my depression is half the time, I don't know why I think I'm going to be able to make another person happy."

((I do my best to ignore the fans and just like what I like. They've almost ruined Lance for me in general, though))
"In this world the survival rate for any kind of transplant is 98% successful," I replied, frowning. "Anyway, it's not up to you to try and make me happy. I'll be fine, so don't worry about me."

((Yeah.))

I punched his arm lightly. "I'm gonna worry, Matt! I'm sure if I get hurt, you're gonna worry because that's a natural response for friends!'
