Dragon Born Reboot

Marina: “Exactly.” I slipped the shell into my pocket.

Alexander: "Let's head back?" I gently grabbed Regan's hand.

Marina: “good idea.”
Asher: “I’m going for a walk.”

Alexander: I led the way back.
Octavia: "Do you want any of us to come with you? It's getting dark."

Marina: I followed him and Reg.
Ash: “I’ll take Lume, I just need to think in peace for a bit if that’s ok, I’ll be safe I promise.” I picked Lume up and walked away.

Alexander: We came back just in time to see Asher leave. "Uh, is he okay?" I asked.
Leandro: "He's going for a walk. He'll be fine."

Asher: I set Lume on my shoulder and walked deeper in the forest, honestly my dad’s side made a lot of sense, mythics had been being abused and forced into hiding for centuries and it wasn’t fair. Why shouldn’t humans pay? They aren’t even nice to other humans. My friends first thoughts after finding out they were halflings shouldn’t have been how am I gonna hide this so I don’t get killed. It’s cruel that children have to think that way. I sighed a bit and ran a hand through my hair.
Marina: I frowned slightly, “Did he say anything?”

Rondris: I stepped out from behind the tree once Asher was far enough from the others. "You seem exceptionally stressed out," I called to him.
Octavia: "Just that he needs to think in peace."

Asher: I jumped slightly and turned around, “And that involves you how?”
Marina: I frowned a little, “We probably shouldn’t have let him go alone...”

Rondris: "Anything involving my favorite son must involve me, don't you think?" I made my eyes flash their natural amber before I caused my wings to unfold.
Octavia: I looked at Neith. Her head had shot up. I heard her voice in my head saying something interesting. "I'll go find him."

Asher: “You know they’re all saying you’re a genocidal maniac.”
Marina: “Be careful.”

Rondris: I held out my arm. Immediately, Lume jumped from Asher's shoulder and climbed to perch on my arm. I rubbed his head affectionately. "I'm an advocate for mythic rights. I think any one has a lot of gall for calling what I'm doing wrong when I'm merely trying to fight for our rights to be treated like the living, breathing beings we are."
Octavia: I let Neith climb onto my shoulder. "I will be, I promise. I'll call for you guys if anything happens."

Asher: “And if a few humans happen to die or become slaves that’s fine?”
Marina: I frowned a bit, but nodded.

Rondris: "It's nothing worse than how they've treated us since we first came into contact. Tell me, would you rather it be them or you? Because if I don't do anything, it will be you. I don't want my son and daughter to grow up in a world that will hate them for something they can't control."
Octavia: "If you want to come with, you can."

Asher: “I understand that, but you have to remember I am still half human. And you’re going to be perpetuating the stereotype.”
Marina: I nodded slightly and followed.

Rondris: "If I portray strength, then they will learn that we are not the ones to be treated less than." I let Lume fly back to Asher. "
Octavia: I led the way, following the path Asher took.

Asher: “Or they’ll fight back harder than ever, humans don’t like to be repressed.”
Marina: I followed quickly.

Rondris: "Neither do dragons or mythics, and yet, here we are."
Octavia: "Asher!" I called.

Asher: “Honestly I’m probably more on your side than the others, but you have to look at all sides-“ I stopped when I heard Tavia tell me name.

Rondris: "My son, if we don't take drastic action, then the world will never change. Revolutions are rarely ever peaceful." I held my hand out to him. "If you would like to talk more, take my hand. I promise, it'll be okay."

Marina: I saw Asher go to take his hand and screamed, “Asher don’t!!!” 
Ash: I heard Marina yell and looked over at her and Tavia before taking his hand.

Octavia: I was shocked when they disappeared. They were there one second, and then gone the next. There was a sudden, powerful gust of wind that blew me back, my wings instinctively folding in front of me to protect me. 
Rondris: I had us in more secure location in seconds, flying to the next mountain over. I looked at Asher, helping him when he became off balance from the sudden landing. "So, any more questions? Anything you want to learn about your pops? Nothing is too much. I'm an open book, Asher."

Marina: I didn’t have wings so I ended up getting thrown back and landing on my butt.
Ash: “A little warning next time.”

Octavia: I rushed over and helped her up. "Are you okay?"
Rondris: "I'm sorry, you'll get used to it. You can do it too, once you master your wings."

Marina: “I’m not hurt, but I’m not okay.”
Ash: I nodded slightly.
