Dragon Born Reboot

Marina: I nodded slightly, “Bye mom.”
Ash: I nodded slightly and took his hand.

Adrina: "Goodbye, daughter." I walked into the water, ducking in when I transformed.
Rondris: I flew us back to the camp. "I must leave now, I hope you understand."

Marina: I looked at my friends and Rae, “Thanks for coming after me.”
Ash: I nodded slightly, “I understand.”

Alexander: "What was the alternative, letting you die?" I smiled a bit. Marina was like a little sister to me. I was so terrified.
Rondris: "Please, if you could... perhaps try and help your sister see that I'm not actually that bad, I'd appreciate that."

Marina: I shrugged a bit, “I wasn’t positive if you had caught on to what I was trying to do.”
Ash: “I can’t promise anything, Tavia is extremely stubborn.”

Alexander: Leandro and I slowly helped her up. "Let's eat and rest, it's been a long day." I looked around. Rae had left.
Rondris: I smiled. "I understand. Thank you." I patted him on the back one more time before I turned and started walking away.

Marina: I winced a little, but none of the cuts hurt nearly as much as they had before.
Regan: I checked on Sanabit to make sure she was doing ok with all the healing she’d been having to do.
Ash: he had dropped me off a little bit away from camp which made sense, so I walked back.

Leandro: I kept her arm around me while keeping my arm around her. We made it to the camp pretty quickly.
Alexander: "Is she okay?"
Octavia: "Ash!" I called before running over and hugging him. "Are you okay?"

Marina: “I think I should rest, you probably should too.” I noticed that Ash was back, “Tavia check his shoulder.”
Regan: “Yeah, shes ok.”
Ash: I hugged her back, “I’m fine, he just wanted to talk.” I looked around and noticed Marina, “What happened?”

Leandro: "When was the last time you ate?"
Alexander: I nodded.
Octavia: "The Siren Queen tried to kill Marina."

Marina: “I don’t know, breakfast? And yeah Ash the siren queen tried to kill me because I was trying to stop her from kidnapping everyone.”
Regan: Marina seemed really mad at Ash right now.
Ash: “I’m sorry, I should’ve been here to help,” I was being sincere, but it was clear Marina was still mad because she spat back, “Yeah, you should’ve.” Before walking to get food with Leandro.

Leandro: I gave Ash a semi-apologetic look before I walked with Marina. "She wasn't going to kidnap us, she was just using us so you wouldn't fight so much."
Alexander: I kept a hand on Regan's shoulder. Having some form of physical contact kept me a little grounded. Fighting and tension gave me anxiety because my parents used to fight all the time.
Octavia: I stepped behind Asher and pulled his shirt over his shoulder down. No marks of any kind. I poked him in the back. "You have a birthmark right here."

Marina: “He still should’ve been here. Besides why target me?”
Regan: “You alright?”
Ash: “I honestly didn’t know that. How long do you think Marina is going to hate me?”

Leandro: "Because you're a mermaid? I don't know."
Alexander: "Fighting gives me anxiety."
Octavia: "She doesn't hate you, fool. She's just mad at you, big difference."

Marina: “That kinda makes sense...”
Regan: I nodded slightly, “I know, that’s why I asked.”
Ash: “If you say so.”

Leandro: I nodded and got to the cooler. I pulled out a water bottle for her and some lunch meat. I started making her a sandwich.
Alexander: I gently moved so I was closer and slowly hugged her from behind, resting my head on top of hers. "What do you want to do now?"
Octavia: I swatted his shoulder and moved to stand back in front of him. "Fool, you can't be the one playing victim because none of us are having it."

Marina: I sat down, standing was getting too draining.
Regan: “Food?”
Ash: “Quite calling me a fool, Marina would be dead right now if I hadn’t talked to him.”

Leandro: I handed her the water and the sandwich before I started making myself one.
Alexander: I nodded slightly and pulled away. It was kind of hard to get the image of that one siren on top of her out of my head. It was only now occurring to me that he had had a piece of iron in his gloved hand back then.
Octavia: I frowned. "First off, you know that's a black term of endearment and I call y'all "fools," no matter the situation. Second, what do you mean Marina would be dead if you hadn't talked? What did you say? What did he say?"

Marina: I ate quickly.
Regan: “Are you ok?”
Ash: “I made him vow that him and his followers wouldn’t kill any of you.”

Leandro: I ate when I finished my sandwich. I looked at her, at her cheek, where the bandage was. I've always wanted to meet my mom, but now, the thought made me sick to my stomach.
Alexander: "Perfectly fine," I mumbled.
Octavia: I nodded slowly. "In exchange for what?"

Marina: “I’m sorry.”
Regan: “What do you want to eat?”
Ash: “A chance to get to know me and me attempting to get you to see he isn’t all bad,” the lie came out smoothly, none of my usual ticks occurring.

Leandro: "What do you have to apologize for?"
Alexander: "Honestly? I'm so hungry, anything really."
Octavia: I stared up at him, my head reeling. "He wants to... get to know us?" I stared down at my toes. That's a lot of what I wanted from my biological father. "What's he like?"

Marina: “I know you wanted to meet her.”
Regan: I nodded and made sandwiches.
Ash: “Of course he does, he’s our dad. And he’s intense, but you can tell he cares.”

Leandro: "Eh, parents are overrated. Besides, I got my papa, I got my siblings. I got my step-mom. Who needs her?"
Alexander: I got out a bag of potato chips.
Octavia: I laughed. "My mom said he was the worse man she'd ever been with, and you're telling me he cares?"

Marina: I nodded slightly.
Regan: “Thank you.”
Ash: “Same, I was just as surprised as you are.”
