Nothing Left to Say

"Are there still blankets in the back?"

"Yeah," I looked back. Moriarty was asleep on the pile of blankets. "Darn it."

"It's ok."

I smiled. "That dog is the life and death of me, I swear. Much like you."

I nodded a bit and closed my eyes again, I was tired all of a sudden.

I kissed the top of her head and closed my eyes. The song changed to "Carry on Wayward Son," but the lullaby version.

I slowly fell asleep.

I fell asleep as well.

I was hoping for no dreams.

I dreamed about the day Natalie exorcised herself. The only problem is, in my dream, my demon didn't go downstairs, he lingered, and possessed Natalie's corpse while I was stuck handcuffed to the chair. You can figure out the rest of that dream. Either way, it was slow, it was awful, and I will not go into details.

I got lucky this time and didn't dream.

The dream repeated and after the fifth loop, I woke up in a cold sweat.

I was still asleep and curled up close to him.

I breathe in deeply, trying to calm down. I looked down at her and stroked her hair.

I smiled a bit in my sleep.

I sighed a bit through my nose. I jumped when there was tapping at my window. It was just Tristan. I lifted my seat up and rolled down the window. "Howdy, cousin. What can I do you for?"
"Uh, first of all, how long have you been in my driveway? I know you can pick a lock."

I moved my head onto his chest and stayed asleep.

I looked down at Natalie. "I didn't want to freak you guys out, again."
Tristan shook his head. "I knew I should have listened to Mads when she said I should have an extra house key made for you," he muttered.

I started to wake up.

I waved him off impatiently. "What do you want? Do you need me to get out of your driveway?"
"No, I'm just saying, you'd probably be a lot more comfy in the guest room, Natalie as w-" he looked at Natalie as if though he realized she was just there. "Holy crap, when did she get back?" He whispered harshly.

I stretched a little bit, "A few hours ago," I mumbled.

Tristan looked a lot like me when I first saw her. "Calm down, cousin," I said.

"I'm a Winchester and a demon Tristian."

"I know that, Nat, come to think if it, that makes things make sense," he said. He took a deep breath. "So, you wanna stay in the guest room, or do you wanna keep living like a country song?"

I shrugged and looked at Tony.
