I couldn't control myself as I thrashed in the silky net. How was spider silk this strong??!! Then I realised that I wasn't being myself... I breathed slowly, trying to calm myself down.
Peter put a hand on a shoulder of one of the guards. "She can melt your face off, man. Allow me." The guards slowly let the girl go, and Peter quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her close, giving her a sort of restraining hug.

Pete hugged her tighter and chuckled. "Trust me, you don't want to be out there, either." He gestured for the door. "Do you have any idea what people would think of you?"
I slowly but surely ripped out of the webs, blurring towards a window. I reached the light, and let out a loud yell as the sun burned my skin. I pulled away into the shadows, my skin healing. I breathed slowly, trying to forget the warm bodies and beating hearts around me.

I quickly formed a clever little idea. I pretended to break down sobbing and buried my face into his chest. "Please, I just want to go home..."

I growled a low growl and made my way to the thrashing girl in the hallway. I was careful to walk slowly, though.
Pete chuckled again. "Well, if you'd give all of us a chance, we could all be friends. The thing is, I don't think you understand that you may not like us, but you definitely need us."
I came around the corner, growling out a few sentences. "Peter's right. We're the only ones..." I panted under the effort of abstaining, "Who can understand... each other."

I ran past several people, fast enough that they didn't notice me. Once I felt like it was safer I slowed down. I didn't know why I'd decided to follow after the running girl, but I had. I heard voices around a corner and stopped, leaning against the wall and listening in.

I basically did the same thing tall, pale, and handsome did and stared down at the ground while growling. "I guess it beats the other punishments," I spat out bitterly.
